If you got Jim Wells that would be a good get, IMO.
eta: What is the approximate salary range La Tech could offer Wells?

Seriously, what about LSU 3B Coach Will Davis? Didn't his dad coach at Tech?

I agree he is but many athletic directors at big programs won't take a chance on a coach with no head coaching experience.

There is truth to that, but all things considered, Dunn would get a much bigger job than La Tech.

His dad did coach at Tech for three seasons and had a worse winning percentage than the coach they just fired.

LaTech's baseball program is a joke. 12 years this guy coached there? They didn't even come close to the postseason once. It is like the school doesn't even pay attention to it. It amazes me that it took this long for them to notice how crappy of a job he was doing. In his defense however, LaTech only allots between 5000-7000 dollars a year towards recruiting in baseball. I'm surprised they even have a team, honestly.

Tech fans are pretty open about not having the funds to support a top flight baseball program. They are in a tough position until they can get football to bring in solid revenue. In other words, tech can't afford to hire javi much less Dunn

What if LSU fans subsidized Javi's salary at Tech?
