Once the regional pairings come out, no one is re-seeded. It's donezo.
They might pair up a 3-seed and a 1-seed across separate regionals, but that is almost inevitable when you put so many teams into the tourney as the SEC does (i.e. UF and State last year).

Baylor being 18-0 with a 6-game lead in conference doesn't leave much room for arguing against them.
yeah, Purdue. I think Florida would like that matchup if they don't get a national seed.
Kyle Peterson was saying this weekend that he still has UCLA as one of his very few national seed *locks* -- along with Baylor and F$U. So, yeah, that would be a tough draw for LSU with both UCLA and Arizona in the mix.
If UCLA takes care of bid'ness against Purdue this weekend, then that solves that. UCLA pretty much replaces Purdue for that national seed.

Don't want to give them both national seeds. Getting swept by a quality RPI team won't kill Purdue's RPI.
Yea you may be right. I was just hoping a sweep, in embarrassing fashion, will expose these guys for the frauds they are. Hopefully that paired w/ a series loss to Michigan in a few weeks would be enough to kill their national seed.

Oregon is getting a little preferential treatment from being out west.
Their current RPI is 17

I think the fact that they lead the Pac12 right now is why. I was wondering about that too.

I agree. I've been thinking all year that surely Purdue would eventually trip up and start losing to some weak Big 10 schools, but they just havent.
A lot like UK and Baylor. They have been really damn steady.

I know how it's done. What I meant was say the SEC gets 3 top 8 seeds. It wouldn't surprise me all to see them all on the same side of the bracket when it is announced (say like 3, 6 and 7). Also expect to see whatever SEC teams get national seeds to paired with regionals that have SEC teams as #2 or #3 seeds. Limiting the amount of teams that can get to the CWS.

Purdues schedule after UCLA is terrible. Won't help the RPI but they'll cruise to 40+ wins before the big10 tourney.

Glad to see Arkansas hosting a Regional. Seems like a boring bracket though for them.
LSU's bracket looks like a juggernaut. Wasn't Oklahoma Top 10 at one point this year, and Arizona was supposedly gonna host a Regional/Super?

But the Committee I know is giving them the benefit of the doubt and is HOPING that they finish with a decent record to give them a NS.
All year theyve been below the Top 8 in RPI but they are always in the NS projections because of their location, winning their conference, amount of wins, yadda yadda bullshite bullshite.

I agree cub. No way we see a regional bracket like this 1st projection, where it's possible (albeit highly unlikely) to have an all SEC Omaha.
The NCAA certainly doesn't wanna repeat of 97.

They might have started out preseason top 10, but they have been a joke all season and are just barely holding onto their bubble. Arizona is def competing for Pac12 title though.

How in the hell does UCLA keep getting to host with that crappy little bush league park of theirs?

Or a repeat of last year when the SEC had 3 of the final 4.

They certainly can't like the fact that the SEC has been represented in the CWS finals the past 4 years.

Well we've got 3-4 elite teams this year, so good luck trying to keep us out!!

shite, i didn't notice that. Didn't look past the 2 regionals involving LSU.
Imagine the outcry from the rest of the country !
