She will probably make more her first year with endorsements then most people make in a lifetime.. I would image the magazine and every clothing manufacturer she is wearing in those pictures wrote her a check..
Buy some nice stuff but invest your early income… you have the chance to make generational money.. geaux angle !

She’s already a millionaire. She’s already set up for a comfortable life. Her future earnings are just lagniappe.

She won a national championship-how is that disappointing?

I thought her post game cry conference answered that. Woke studies.

We've tried to explain to you that it's an investment rather a charitable donation but you just can't seem to grasp that.

accept it, adjust, and move forward.
HVL, come on back and get yourself a ring next year.

Comments like this is why I’m glad she left. Some of this fan base do not deserve players like her.

I’m fully aware of that
Why wouldn’t anyone want to invest in a 21 year old with a following of nearly 5 million across all social media platforms?

Do you understand how shite works in 2024?
Do you know how many people are millionaires strictly off Instagram?
Are you aware that she put out a deceleration video on her IG page and in 1 hour it has 1 million views?

Because nobody remembers who was the 7th pick in the WNBA draft. Could’ve went #1 in 2025

I’m a big fan of hers and I hope she does well in the WNBA. She’s not ready, not ready at all for the next level. But she has earned it. She brought a Natty to LSU, and along with Clark at Iowa elevated the women’s game. She’s done a whole heck of a lot for LSU.

Players that run their mouth but cry and whine when they lose? No fan base deserves a player like that, the game was about LSUs game and LSUs lose. But her and her teammates made it about her and how "hard" she has it.
If that is the player you want, that's your choice. I prefer the Marquis colston type. Doesn't run his mouth when doing great, doesn't whine when losing.

Shaq has said he has big plans for her at Reebok when she leaves LSU. You can bet they have talked this week. She will be making decisions for the women's side of Reebok. Angel said she plans to create her own Reebok shoes and clothing line. That is one that will follow her after LSU. She will also be pursuing a modeling career. Add the $$$ she earns from the millions of social media followers. She will be capitalizing on her popularity and success for the next couple years.
Why does she need the wnba for any of that? You just showed her financial value is more on her fame than her playing ability . So why not stay where you are more famous (college) than going to the barren wasteland that is the wnba?
I would argue the same for katelyn Clark, although she will probably become the (much needed) face of the wnba.
Nobody is underrating the value of social media, etc. as you keep claiming , but you are largely overrating the popularity of wnba. (There is none. It’s all propped up by the nba and media)

Because man maybe she’s ready to move on and enter a different chapter of life.

Who was pick 11?
No idea, just saying first round picks aren't a given to make the team. I don't know enough to say that Reese would go any higher if she came back for another year.
HVL should come back.

I'm only surprised because how many people who get drafted in the WNBA actually end up on rosters? They need to expand but also need an influx of cash. This waive of players will help but the NBA needs to subsidize this league more. Pointer was the 5th or 6th pick two years ago and was cut before training camp.

And that’s fine. Good luck to her. This is a financial discussion.

I’m actually not and won’t miss her. Not a fan of her antics but I realize a lot of people are and that’s what makes her popular.
