Do you think Brumfeld, Brossette or Battle are going to be drafted? Those are the only possibilities. All are realistically FA guys who will fight to make a roster Recruiting classes are judged by wins and losses and ulitimately by how many guys end up in the NFL. We have lost six games the last two years and very few guys are getting drafted. Those are facts Those facts support my assertion that the roster had issues. The fact that Orgeron had to bring in Burrow,Tracy, Lewis, Traole, Moss, Feheiko and Giles as transfers is also a fact and supports my argument that those Top 10 classes of Miles were a mirage. No top tier team brings in that many transfers if they don’t see holes all over the roster It is a fact that over the past two years we have had a total of one Lineman drafted and none of the undrafted guys is on an NFL roster Please keep asking for “facts.” This is easy

This is TRUTH.
Another sign coach O gets it is he is plugging the holes mentioned.

Miles always loaded up with skill players and neglected the trenches. In reality, a #8 class that is well balanced is better than a #3 class that’s heavily weighted in skill players. It’s all about need.

Wrong. We had tons of lineman earn all-conference honors and get drafted into the NFL during Miles’ tenure. He just wasn’t a very creative coach on game day. That’s all.

According to the LSU website he played in every game this season.

because he was likely on PATs and FGs.

Right.

You don't know that. Deculus is 331 and Dare is 333. If they need him to play RT he may do just that.

Dare and Deculus are both 6’7”. Bradford is 6’5”, so they both have 2” on him and are 20lbs lighter. He’s not playing tackle

At this point Bradford has eaten himself out of the OT spot. He projects as an OG now. If he takes conditioning seriously he could challenge for an OT spot, but right now he's going to be buried in a deep OG rotation.

Watching his film, he needs to improve his footwork and that was before the weight started going up.

If you believe that there are people getting paid to post pro O propaganda you are gullible.

I actually agree with you there. I don’t believe they exist. But this....

IMO, the PR/propaganda is reaching a point where it's counterproductive.

I'd bet if it stopped, the anti-O segment of the fanbase would largely disappear

...this is also bullshite? Because I think that’s spot on.

It’s not just about getting 4 and 5 star recruits to make you look good in the recruiting standings. It’s about getting 4 and 5 star recruits at positions of need. Who cares if you’re second or seventh if you’re getting the players you need.

The current national champion hasn’t finished higher than 7th in the last five years and finished out of the top 10 twice in that time span.

It's just like politics. Extremism on both sides drowns out rational thought.

Just look at the next post after yours.

Very safe and easily agreeable statement, but didn’t you gush over one of Ree’s responses to another poster here?

quote:

Well that's a slapdown that will leave a mark.

The “next post after me” you’re referring to is extremely one sided, and wrong IMO. “O does nothing right.”

The extreme opposite side of that is that O is perfect and does nothing wrong.

I disagree with both. So while your statement about politics is true, you’ve only ever aligned yourself with one of those extremes, from what I’ve seen anyway.

Don’t be a hypocrite.

ETA: Not who I thought I was responding to. My bad!

Well... More teams are being more competitive than years past and drawing more attention to their program. LSU in the top 10 in recruiting is great because it's only based off of HS performance and our coaches will develope the 4* players into 5* players. Just watch. Quit buying into the hype and ratings....
