I really have no problem with what he said. I really don’t think LSU is going to get hammered tomorrow. The entire state of ‘college football’ is what will get hammered

His interview late last night on the SVP show was very fair and rational. Not sure why it hasn't been replayed. I thought he was going to be hard on our Tigers but he wasn't at all. Said both the NCAA and NFL are businesses and should be treated as such.

Liked most of what he said, but he didn't mention the only point worth mentioning and the only issue at hand, which is that this is a one time situation for a relatively small group of guys who probably would have stayed for a fifth year if they'd known they could! One reason being that they can probably make more money as fifth year college players than as practice squad guys in NFL.
Nobody is making the point that going forward guys who take a stab at the draft and aren't happy about their result should be able to head back to college. It's a one-time deal, which is why I'm disappointed that Sankey as being such an a-hole about this.

You’re a fool if you think this. This is just the case at hand. The minute another player sues in another situation the courts will have the same ruling.

Wouldn’t a CBA classify them as employees or contractors - therefore professionals? Compensation for your effort and skill is the definition of a professional .
That’s a missed point about the mini camp or tryout guys - they were paid under the NFL CBA which means they had a contractual agreement - therefore professionals.

Well, I believe you don’t have to be on contract to get a minicamp invite. But I could be wrong.
