FWIW, black football players as well as the white ones more than likely dont give a damn about a flag that some fans fly at a tailgate.... Im pretty sure there attention and focus is on something a tad bit bigger.

I think Jefferson will surprise a lot of people with how well he plays. But here's a question for you guys, what would've been Perrilloux's stats this upcoming season as a senior and 2 yr starter?

You are correct. The players inside the stadium don't see and don't care. The recruits and their parents do see the ignorance you espouse, as well as the rest of the country. It is very easy to see the correlation of Ole Miss sucking in Mississippi recruiting until they officially banned the flag from any official stance of the University.
No matter how anyone spins the "Rebel Flag" it is seen as a symbol of intolerance and racism. And IMO has no place as a symbol of any University or fanbase.
