According to cbsports gametracker, he scored 7 points in 1 minute. LINK

I'm going to watch the "replay" of the whole game on that gametracker tomorrow at work.

checked in with about 8:30 left. had 7 points (3/6 FT) with a block and a missed dunk. two or three rebounds. crowd was really pumped for him.

Yes he played, about 9 minutes, scored 7 points (no joke), had a block and like 3 rebounds, should have had double digit points if he doesn't miss a fast break dunk and makes a couple of FTs

He got to the foul line a few times and scored several points there. We were basically force feeding him the ball over and over again. He also reeled in some rebounds and blocked a shot which was pretty awesome to see.
The fact is, based on the eyeball test alone, the kid looked pretty bad out there to me. It was fun to see him make a few plays but I wouldn't take too much from it.

If you saw him last year you would think different player

Oh I don't doubt that at all. All I'm saying is that for those who didn't get to watch not to take his stat line and extrapolate too much from it.

this. it's pretty much CJJ getting a senior some PT and letting the crowd have some fun when the game is already out of reach.

Could this guy stay around for two more years?
Isn't this only his second year of basketball?

this is his last year of eligibility, I think. Not that it matters. Seriously, putting him in = kneeling the ball with five minutes left.

i could see him getting some playing time just because of his size and how he keeps getting to the line

against super short McNeese, yes. against a basketball team, however...

Slow your roll, he was playing against a guy who was 6'5 tonight

I said it in the game thread. He owned the court, was a fricking boss, and looked like a gazelle on the fast break.

I would say more like a 3 legged giraffe...
