When did I say we haven’t played piss poor the past couple of weeks? Equating that to “it’d be a miracle if we win 4 games” is the laughable part.

For the record, we have played piss poor. Jones, Milam, and Hernandez have to turn it around for us to get where we want to go as well as a couple bullpen guys step up. If they do not we will be disappointed come postseason time. However, just because a team hits a skid for a couple weeks does not mean the season is over. It happens all the time in baseball.

First of all I don’t understand your obsession with saying everything thing is an “excuse”. That stems from the football mentality that any loss can end you chance of playing for the NC (even though that’s not really even true in FB now with 12 team playoff vs 2 or 4 but I digress)
Tennessee is a very good team, it will be a tough series. If we lose 2’or 3 that would suck Funny that you dismiss the fact they have lost of their last 3 series.

However we are 12-6 in the SEC right now with 12 to play. 19 wins should guarantee a top 8 seed which is my first concern. So we need to go 7-5 the next 12. If we can go 5-4 in the next 3 that would be great. If not we can reevaluate. If we go say 5-7 then we probably won’t get a top 8 but will still host a regional and then you see what happens. Many teams including LSU have hosted Supers without starting as a top 8 seed. Typically at least half the field in Omaha weren’t top 8 seeds. So I’ll worry about the season being over when it actually ends. But hey it you get off on being chicken little and thinking we suck because the team isn’t dominant like the 2019 FB team by all means continue in your misery
