You were correct. Congrats.

Florida will run on LSU and will score points

Correct again. They ran. They scored exactly 6 points.

OP was right in many ways

Out of about 20 different points, he hit on passing game and LSU points scored.

However, disregarding level of competition and closeness of games, among several other variables that make it impossible to compare apples to apples, and taking your stat projections as gospel, LSU is still the more efficient offense by far. LSU scores .093 points per yard of offense, 50% more than Florida who scores .063 points per yard of offense.

In this game LSU's points per yard avg dropped to .051 while Florida's dropped to .024, so even with the fluke turnover deep in UF territory, LSU was twice as efficient on offense as Florida, doubling their 50% advantage coming into the game.

So, there you go. The statistics say LSU loses something like 24-17.

At least you got the 17 part right.

In summary, my statistics show..

LSU rushing for 66-79 yards
LSU passing for 173-213 yards
Total Offense= 242-289 yards
**FLORIDA AVG. 217 YPG SO THIS IS A LOT OF YARDS FOR THEM**
LSU scoring 16-19 points

Florida rushing for 134-227 yards
Florida passing for 171-193 yards
Total offense= 334-391 yards
Florida scoring 21-26 points

In actuality:

LSU rushing: 175 yards
LSU passing: 152 yards
Total Offense: 327 yards
LSU scoring: 17 points

Florida rushing: 111 yards
Florida passing for 129 yards
Total offense: 240 yards
Florida scoring: 6 points

Please never post again.

I love when threads like this get bumped after things go the complete opposite than the OP's statistical prediction. Please continue predicting these reality checks the rest of the season...I love the outcome!

UF will practice ball control, it's not going to be a high scoring game.

I just don't see this unless LSU shoots itself in the foot with a bunch of penalties and turnovers.

Turns out I was right...

Your entire post is now a moot point...all your stats didn't keep us from putting the "chomp" on
the gators...the offense ran on Florida pretty damn well IMO,we didn't need to pass, and guess what? The D stepped up huge today! Reality check for you

LSU 17-Fla-6
