Let's see LSU beats Bama by a field goal (again) and then wins out including the SEC championship against Florida.

Bama wins out also.

Notre Lame, K State, and Oregon all lose one game.

LSU plays Bama for the title (again).

That is so far from the answer to my question .

I am asking how someone could think that LSU jumps Kstate and Oregon if they are undefeated. In your answer both of those teams have a loss...

I really don't think LSU will jump any undefeated teams. If ND, Oregon, and K-State run the tables, LSU will be left out.

I don't think they all run the table but the OP's question is refering they do.

Yeah, K-State stays ahead of us if they win out. Consider them going into Norman and beating Oklahoma; and then Oklahoma beating #4 Notre Dame... that boosts K-State's credibility.

It can get weird- if you root for USC to knock Oregon out, that might bite you in the arse too. If USC takes Oregon twice and also Notre Dame, they might climb a little too close for comfort.

It depends on how handily LSU would beat Bama. If it is a close game the Bama will stay ranked ahead of LSU. If LSU blows out Bama then maybe 3 at the highest.

If LSU does not blow them out we will start hearing all of the same lines that we heard following the Nov. 5th game ( which LSU did win despite the ESPN and Bama media guide historical revisionist). LSU in this game has at least 2 opponents Bama and the sensationalist media. Let us hope that we will not have to contend with the officials ( although I think I am hoping for a little to much). If LSU wins the SEC stands a chance of getting left out of the national title picture and something tells me we could have flashes of 2009 SEC ref screw jobs being served up this weekend and next weekend to preserve an un-defeated SEC championship game.

How livid would we be if LSU wins out until a rematch against Florida and we lose again, then a one loss Non sec champ Bama sneaks into the national title again

does it matter? if we win out and beat uf/uga in the seccg we're fine. i thought we were clear on this

i think notre dame gets run out of norman this weekend and k-state will have their hands full with tubby's tech team. there's still alot of football to be played

I see you saying this, but what reasoning do you have? Big12 teams, similar to the SEC, are only losing to each other. At least the top ones (TT, OU, UT, WVU). What reason do you have for Kstate to drop below an SEC team?

1. I think a 1 loss SEC team would jump k state, not Oregon.

2. I think If LSU beats #1, wins out and then beats say #1 florida in the SEC title game then I think we would jump a team like k-state.

3. If the above scenarios play out then there is no need to let a 1 loss SEC team play for all the marbles. Let's not forgot which conference has won the title for the better part of these past 10 years.

Assuming UF beats UGA, ND beats OU, and Oregeon and K-State stay undefetaed....

1. Florida
2. Oregon
3. Notre Dame
4. Kansas State
5. Alabama
6. LSU

Thats assuming LSU wins a close game. If LSU wins decisvely I could see LSU jumping as high as 4. Theres no way they jump UF, Oregon, or ND (after htey beat OU).

Pointless thread, LSU has no chance against BAMA. 21-6

Bama
Florida
K-State
Oregon
Oklahoma

You're right. No point in even playing the game. They should save us all some time and just pencil in Bama and Oregon in the BCSNC.

absolutely not. That means we are SEC champs and would've beaten the #1 team twice already (assuming Florida wins out)

No way we don't get a shot

Oregon is behind K state now and they won't jump them after beating a shitty Colorado team. If ND beats OU I can see them jumping KSU and UO but Oregon will stay behind KSU until the following weekend.

any undefeated big 12 or PAC 12 team (if there's only 2 undefeated teams) will not be jumped. Be prepared for that.

The worst scenario of all if ND and Oregon goes undefeated forget Bama and K State. No matter what LSU does with one loss and after beating possibly Two #1 ranked teams Bama and Florida, we could be on the outside looking in. To me, that will certainly be worse than Jan 9.
