re: Real reason for Mcshay leaking that Guice is dropping to 4th RD

Guice is a very humble player and person. I can say this after talking to him several times. He was kind enough to go out of his way so I could get a pic with him.

Guice is one of 22 players invited to attend the draft in person. That doesn't happen if the NFL is pulling strings to punish him.

IIRC, he was invited before he put the interview process on blast, though, correct me if Im wrong on that

But fair or not, teams have the right to respond to that the way they see fit. If he didn't mind his bank account being a little lighter then it was worth it.
Part of being in the NFL is representing the team in the way they want you to.
Yeah, and some prostitutes make more money by taking it in the A - but not it's not for everyone

You sound too worked up about this. I want any LSU player to succeed at the next level, but I don't care enough to get so worked up over it. Guice seems like a good kid but he's not on my list of favorite Tigers. Kid seems to run his mouth and seek attention a little too much. He's about to be a rookie.. Just needs to put his head down, learn from vets, and get to work. His shtick isn't going to fly in the NFL.

Making up dramatic lies as interview questions to potential employers, and getting attention for pulling someone out of a wrecked car is on the same level of attention grabbing to you?
If so you are truly a skeptical sick fricker.

He’s a Tiger so I’ll always pull for him, but not enough to get blinded by conspiracies in an obvious situation where he let the attention get to his head.

Not defending a former Tiger here, just happens to be the case - Im defending his actions, and saying that I believe this is the likely source for his seemingly out of nowhere drop in the draft talk, and if so, I stand by his actions and think its messed up. You're making more of it than that unfortunately

From your OP:
No one ever in the history of earth has suggested that the NFL is a "non profit league" - I'm not sure what you meant there.
And whether they ruffled his feathers or not, he should have just strapped on a smile and answered the questions. He cost himself a bunch of money over something that seems pretty trivial. They were trying to get a rise out of him with those questions and it worked.

Why was leaking the information the right thing to do? Are the questions life threatening to someone? If not just keep your mouth shut and make some money.

Non-profit organization.
Why should he shut up and smile? Our potential employers are allowed to mistreat us and we should smile and eat shite because they are doing us the favor?
Were does that stop? If I graduate with a Master's in engineering and Haliburton's CEO wants to take a dump on my chest, just to see how I handle shite and stress - does that make it right?
Screw that man. The rules apply to the NFL and their GM's too, and they shouldnt be allowed to interrogate because the NFL is some untouchable cash cow. Get a grip.
If they want to know if he loses his cool - all they had to do was talk to his coaches, review his game tape, analyze his penalties, and do research on how he has conducted himself on and off the field the last few years at LSU.
Oh wait, they already do that, and pick your life apart. Yet you think on top of that, they deserve to talk nonsense because that will give them information they are lacking?

I hope next time you work your arse off for a job you deserve, your potential employer asks you to open your mouth so they can piss in it, just to seal the deal and develop trust. I mean, it isnt life threatening, but to your point, you couldnt keep your mouth shut, so....

This right here? This is why people are saying you’re getting too worked up over this.

Not anymore. They gave up that status in 2015.
And it was only the league office that ever held that status. The teams themselves were regular profit-making businesses.

I mean you can call me a beta all you want.. but if someone's going to give me millions of dollars to take a shite on my chest I will rip my shirt off with the quickness.
Sometimes it's just best to leave well enough alone.

I actually haven't seen a quote from him walking back anything. I read about some guy reporting that's what he heard he was saying to NFL teams, but you get a lot of false info. when it comes to the NFL and draft time.
