I sit low on the side opposite the team benches. Several of us who sit there argued about what the real attendances have been so I came with a small counter and I counted section by section only in the middle and lower sections. It took me awhile as I counted only at timeouts in the first half. There were 3255 people sitting in seats in those sections for the ncc game. At worst, our real attendance has not dipped below 3000 which is nothing to brag about.

Xmas break. These games never have a big turn out. Even more so when you are trying to bring new fans and the team sucks it up with a lifeless coach.

People have had enough (Like in Football) and are ready for a change.
Alums/Fans are starting to realize what it takes at LSU to get a response from the DGMA's in the Athletic Department.
The building needs to be empty for substantial action to be taken at the conclusion of the season. Empty to the point of embarrassment..............

LSU basketball fans have been disappointed time and time again when they actually show up.
It seems like over the years LSU always loses the games where a huge crowd shows up. Sending them home disappointed and not wanting to make going a regular thing.
Last season was one season long disappointment. LSU sold more season tickets than they had in a long time and LSU had pretty good crowds all season. Well the team was bad and the fans said screw it I'm not wasting my time showing up this season.
If LSU somehow gets on a hot streak fans will come back during SEC play.

College basketball in general is a bad product and it is only getting worse.
