Other than transfer Joe B,what has LSU had to brag about at QB the last 15 years? No where to go but up.

Are 15 years old? What a tired and meaningless response
Generally coming from those lacking in analytical skills.

Some of you just handle any differences of opinion.

I’m not sold on Kelly. But at least he’s not Oregeron. And at least things will be different.

In this scenario, I'm mystified why he'd go back to the well with Denbrock.

Maybe, just maybe, Denbrock has improved sometime in the last 8 seasons after his first OC job ever back in 2014.

Kelly's weakness is lack of recruiting great QBs. In the last 12 years has he recruited any great or even good QB, NO.
I hope that changes at LSU. Go Kelly.

At ND Kelly had at least a half dozen tight ends get drafted and probably the same or more for receivers. I can think of two first round WRs off the top of my head. He had weapons, but I would definitely expect him to have more at LSU.

Did you not watch the Cincy/bama game last night. You can have all the talent in the world at TE/WR if you dont have time(Oline) to get them the ball then what does it matter? IF Kelly can build the OL up to match the DL talent at bama and add in the playmakers that are produced yearly in LA then LSU will be competing for the playoffs yearly.

Now what is one thing those coaches didn't have to deal with that Kelly did? Oh yeah, high academic requirements...

I went to the last game Charlie Weiss coached at Notre Dame. They got beat by UConn. That is the dumpster fire Brian Kelly inherited. He did a good job of getting their program going in the right direction. Then the program fell on hard times. Kelly had enough self awareness to correct his own program & did it very quickly.

So Kelly has proven to have the ability to take a program that was in way worse condition than LSU’s is currently & turn it around. He has also proven that he has the self awareness to fix his own program.

Brian Kelly is a VERY good college football coach. That cannot be denied. Oh you can try, but his record speaks much louder than your keyboard!

Will Brian Kelly be a VERY good coach at LSU? Here’s an idea, let’s wait to see what the team does on the field this fall. Then we can START to make a judgment. But he does have a 10 year contract, so I would think he has a long-term plan & 2022 is just the beginning.

Brian Kelly is a very good X & O's guy. Seriously, when is the last time we had that at LSU? I would say not since Nick Saban left.
