Many of our opponents haven’t had the dudes outside to matchup so they go to 3 man rush to cover us. Joe Burrow has feasted!

I doubt we see Clemson sit back and only rush 3. Venables is known for blitz packages and I think we’ll see lots of them.

Football can be complicated but our matchup will come down to how we recognize where they are coming from and if we can pick them up.

Geaux Tigers.

When teams go hurry up Venebles always sloppily sends a blitz. He rotates safeties post-snap.

IF our Oline picks these up, Joe will absolutely pick them apart. The problem is they won’t pick up ALL of them, and Joe WILL get hit.

CEH will be extremely effective out of the backfield if he’s 100%. We need him to be ready to go.

Agreed, after watching the game last night I think Clyde will have a big game receiving vs Clemson. They blitz a lot, but Joe's ability to make quick reads and get the ball out fast to Clyde out of the backfield will give us a great chance to win.

I’m feeling it too. Clyde finna eat. Only things that worry me are blind side hits on Joe or strip sacks.

Pick up their blitz and throw it where they are coming from

When Joe gets hit he gets pissed and proceeds to push his 14” tool deeper into the opponent.

I also feel like Joe could have a big game on the ground as well.

Screens they be acoming, if they want to blitz they best be prepared on the back end to have their DBs trucked by olinemen and watch Clyde run away.

We'll see the blitzes and the 3-man rush. They'll pick their chances and look to run free and hit J.B. OL must play a GREAT game, but they have done so against other great DEFs this year: UF, AUB, Bama, and UGA. NO reason they can't be ready.

Across our entire OFF, with better skilled position players than OSU (QB, WR, TE, RB), we'll create matchup problems and score. Coach E and Coach B will have this team ready to GEAUX!

We'll see. Clemson started having success v. Fields when they dropped 8 into coverage.

Burrow won't be fooled as easily, and makes quicker decisions. Fields looked like the game was happening too fast for him. Hesitation will cost us.

Clemson will without question IMHO be the best team we've faced this year. But we will be the same for them.

The second best team they will have faced, they were very fortunate to beat last night. Two of their TD drives were kept alive by penalties, Dobbins flat out dropped two TD passes that would have resulted in 8 more points for the Buckeyes and the overturned call on the catch an fumble I think was the wrong call despite what the ref analyst on the broadcast said.

Joe excels against pressure. They won’t blitz us as much as you think.

LSU has faced some really good defensive fronts, and good overall defenses this year. Is the Clemson defense that much better than any LSU has faced this year?

Burrow has been great in the pocket and using his feet outside the pocket to make plays this year. I think he handles whatever they throw at him. Too many weapons and options for LSU against the Clemson defense.

Pitch options with joe rolling right or left.
Rolling pocket, joe is damn effective on the move.
Our backs get loose in the secondary, look out.
Blitz can be defeated.

If they get blitz happy, Joe should and certainly will kill them with his legs. I actually think we see lots of Joe runs in this game.
