even though we lost the game 5 minutes later..the blocked kick against bama last year was one of the best feelings ive ever had at an LSU game.
Also was at the Rice game last year in the CWS..that was the loudest I have ever heard Rosenblatt and I've been going since 2001. The zoo staff said they heard the crowd noise deep inside the zoo.
Auburn last second catch was pretty intense also.

In order
1) 1997 CWS
2) 2003 BCS
3) UF @ LSU 1997
Ranked in that order because the 97 CWS was the first LSU NC that I was fortunate enough to attend. My buddies and I were all wondering at the time if this was the only NC we would see in person in our lifetime.
2003 BCS, well, that goes without saying. To win it in our backyard, for the first time in 45 years and against one of the "best college football teams of all time" - priceless.
1997 UF/LSU because it symbolized the return of LSU football, per se. We still had a few ups and downs afterward but it showed what the program was capable of.
With so many events listed within such a short timeline (10 - 15 years overall), we are truly living in the golden age of LSU athletics.

79 USC game. Even though we lost. Was there
81 Wichita State basketball, 1st final four. Was there.
97 Florida, my daughters first LSU game. Wasn't there but she was. She talked about that game for weeks, and still does.
07 Auburn game, what a gutsy call. Was there.
FSU/LSU orange bowl game. Was there.
LSU/Alabama game in B'ham after 9/11. Was there.
Most un-memorable.
Miami Hurricane game, pouring rain, them pouring on a arse-kicking. Unfortunatley there.
The Ohio State day game, ended in a tie. Seemed like it last 6 hours. Was there.
Tennessee day game, they run roughshod over us. Back in the early nineties I believe. Frickin hot. Was there.

The title of the thread is "moment" -- not complete game. The underlying basis of this thread is that if the player fails, the Tigers lose. That's why I do not put Cresse in this mix. Had he made an out, it would only have been the first out of the inning. Even if the Tigers don't score, it's a tie game going to the 10th inning. Therefore --
1. Morris [nothing else really is close]
2. BGM
3. Earthquake
4. Cannon
5. Jones to Davis in '72
Honorable Mentions --
a.) Cedrick Donaldson INT for a TD against Fla in '97
b.) Flynn to Byrd
c.) Rios homer and staredown of Wichita State pitcher
d.) Walker gw single to beat Long Beach
e.) Dean double to beat Rice
f.) the clock reaching 0:00 to beat 'Bama in 2000

If we're talking actual "moments" then here are my top three from my short lifetime witnessing LSU sports:
1) '03 UGA TD pass - Mauck to Green
2) The announcement that USC had lost at the '07 UF game. I have never seen so much pure passion and happiness pour out collectively in my life. The sound level easily had to have surpassed anything that stadium has ever seen. It was pure drunken pandemonium.
3) '07 Flynn to Byrd. The student section was dogpiling itself. I fell two rows down because people were jumping on each other. I got up after the fall to be showered in Bourbon and Coke. What an amazing play.

1. 2003 Mauck to Green UGA - This put us in the MNC hunt and it happened right in front of my seats.
2. 2003 BCSCG Vincent breaks for 70yds in opening drive - This set the tone for the game and we never looked back.
3. 2007 Flynn to Byrd AU - TD with .02 on clock to beat AU. Stadium went NUTS. The only way this could have been better is if it was in the South Endzone.
