I am so tired of seeing all these threads bashing coaches and players. We are all upset over the loss, but this is too redundant. Let's focus on the great LSU has and has had. List your top 10 greatest players in LSU history.

1) Pete Maravich - LINK
2) Billy Cannon - LINK
3) Ben McDonald - LINK
4) Seimone Augustus - LINK
5) Xavier Carter - LINK
6) Tommy Casanova
7) Todd Walker - LINK
8) Shaq - LINK
9) Kevin Faulk - LINK
10a) Jerry Stovall
10b) Y.A. Tittle (had to)

Y.A. Tittle was on my mind a lot...definitely a great, quite possibly one to add.

It would have been great to see him play as a Tiger... or in the NFL.

I would have loved to see H.P. Long stalking the sidelines too...although not an athlete, he did a lot for LSU.

if this is for what they did during their time at LSU, then CJ goes before Shaq.

Just for some sport diversity, David Toms, Todd Walker?

Also do you means LSU athletes who achieved the most? Or most Athletic LSU athletes. Cause that would be hard to measure.

You cannont have Seimone Augustus above Shaq...or Faulk....or Casanova. also you might want to put Bob Petit on that list

Jerry Stovall or Tommy Casanova were historically LSU's greatest football players ever. But I think it's Stovall I'm thinking of.

David Toms and Todd Walker are great names! I overlooked Walker. Toms I looked at, but really could not find too much info on his LSU playing days. Can someone fill me in?

Cecil Collins was the most exciting LSU football running back I have ever seen, and he was a contemporary with Faulk. (*Did not see Billy Cannon.)

Partick Peterson is easily the most electric athlete I've seen. He has Deion Sanders-like athleticism/talent at corner and as a returner.

Glenn Dorsey is the most dominating D-Lineman since I have been watching LSU football(1980).

Most say had Cannon not won it just three years prior they would have rewarded it to him.
