I am old enough to watch Cholly Mac coach.
1. Saban
2. Miles - he should be undisputed #2
3. Arnsparger - collected talent and wins in his short stint.
4. Orgeron - 2019 *chef's kiss*
5. Cholly Mac
6. Stovall - toggled between really good and awful seasons.
7. DiNardo - brought back the magic; just made some awful coordinator replacement hires.
8. Kelly - he peaked with Bama win out the gate, then sat on his arse.
9. Hallman
10. Archer - I know most put Hallman here, but Archer was the true program devastator. Was handed a Ferrari and left us a Yugo. Todd Kinchen: "The 3 stooges could have coached LSU to 10 wins in 1987." Archer's inability to inspire or recruit was particularly spectacular.

I was putting this list together right before leaving work. I meant to say wins, it was a poor attempt to make fun of BK even more.
BK is twice the coach Orgeron is for example like him or not. Just because you didn’t have your best run at a school doesn’t mean your a bad coach.

Orgeron-I loved Coach O. I still do not really understand what happened to him at the end (COVID maybe?).
Nah, he’s just a retard.

Kelly, for all his faults (and there are many!) was still able to shepherd a trip to Atlanta and a Heisman Trophy winner.
Hallman was so bad we looked to a Vanderbilt coach as a savior to "Bring the Magic Back".

I factor more than most, like Bill did not recruit (Archer was the main recruiter).
1 Saban
2. Miles
3. Paul
4. McClendon
5. Orgeron
6. Archer (would be higher prop 48 killed LSU recruiting, and board did not want him to sign JuCo players)
7. Arnsparger (did not recruit and heart was not in college football, wanted the team to play at a level pace).
8. Stovall
9. Dinardo
10.Kelly (really should be 8, still said we should have hire Lane over Kelly when we hired Kelly.)
11 Hallman (Joe saved us 500k with that hire)

Kelly had fans frustrated about 'only' winning 9-10 games a year.
Hallman almost killed the program.
Understand, this season- where we finished 7-5 and lost our bowl- is FAR better than anything Curley did here. 5-6, 2-9, 5-6, 4-7. It was mind-numbingly bad.

Like I said Kelly should be number 8.
I am not as mad when we hire Hallman, I told everyone on radio it was a mistake.
Not near as bad as taking Kelly, Kelly was a good coach, but when they should have looked to the future they did not and took Lane.
