How many NFL quality receivers were catching Hodson's passes?
Tony Moss was a reliable and quick WR; I'd say Skyler Green was a clone.
Want to say Hodson had a TE that played in the NFL, and Eddie Fuller was a great receiver out of the backfield.
There's no question that LSU ran a more potent and explosive pro-style offense with Hodson than with Tyler.

He was great, but this is an assinign remark. There is no way to compare generational QBs. YA, Jones, Hodson were all great, but many people like you think LSU football started in 2001, so it's hard for you to be objective.

JR was a real good QB at LSU... He was a physical freak.. But had the brains of a turnip IMO... Nothing against the guy but when he went pro hr did NOT listen to the right people... Ranking QB'S atLU is hard to do... Bert was very very good but at the time he was not able to show how good he really was because of the offense they ran back then... In the PASSING era.. JR is a close second to Hodson....
