You can't be this clueless? Brian O'Connor, Corey Mee, Terry Rooney, Cliff Godwin.

Yeah, that's pretty awful.

I acknowledge that Sanchez was a bad hire. But here's a newsflash - even good coaches make poor hires from time to time.

He would be a great hire. I was hoping he would have been hired before Grewe was brought in. He wanted the job at the time and couldn't get a phone call.

No offense, and mean this in the most positive and constructive way, but ... you suck.

The epitome of the stereotypical LSU fan, forming an opinion based on ZERO knowledge and criticizing a coach before he even makes a decision.

IMO, this is Rosetta simply leaking a name. I don't think this came from the program. Regardless, you want to run PM out of town based on this unsubstantiated rumor.

Get a fricking grip, Rantard.

It's like you came out of nowhere with a maxed out chicken little attitude. Nice job. I hope you stick around for football season and shite on the team then too.

I'm gonna guess you don't know any of his previous hires before Sanchez and Grewe

Keeping Sanchez is a more egregious mistake, in my view.

You know it's been all of 36 hours or so since our season ended right? I'd give it more than a day to see if Javi is still here

36 hours > a day

I agree with what you are trying to say.

Please. My criticism was based off the results at LSU which was pointed out earlier if you took the time to read. Rooney and Godwin left before the 2009 season. Maineiri hires did not work out this time around. We'll see if they do.

Second, I've never called for Mainieri to be replaced. Not once. I think he's a good coach, regardless of what many here think. We'll see if he can recruit good assistants to come and stay here. So far, one left and has succeeded at UCF, one left for a similar position before getting promoted at UCF, one fired, and once sucked. I'd say the jury is out for the moment. If you think he's going to bring in some high profile name, I don't see it. He doesn't have that track record here. He seems to value promotion from within since he brought the first set with him and promoted/hired one he had prior success with.

Also, I'm taking fricking exception with the Rantard comment. I've dealt with you pricks before with the Jimbo vs. Crowton debate in 2007, Watkins being a decent lead off hitter, and whether they'll make a regional. I rarely make my way to this board but don't jest like I'm some general uninformed idiot. I've got no problem being wrong but the prevailing thought here never seems to be very accurate.

I've spent numerous nights in bars with him and he is awesome, I am 100% positive he can recruit and he definitely know the game and pitching

You fail to look at his assistants pre-LSU
