Eades will be fine. It's hard spot as the Saturday pitcher being up in the series. Batters work the count more than on Friday nights. Arkansas rocked his confidence some, but he is one season mature. I would not hit the panic button until the post season. He has incredible offense behind him, his location was good, just not getting the calls. He will shake it off. Remember, it's baseball.

What happened to Raph? He could still find it, but he's just not the same as last year.
Everyone knew he wasn't going to be the same as last year. It's interesting though, because Bergman is playing out of his mind right now, but I actually think he can play like that for 2 more years. The fact of the matter is raph just doesn't have the raw talent that other players have. He got really hot last year, and is a very smart baseball player.

Honestly, I don't see Bregman slowing down next year either. He's gonna break some records.

He's got one more start before I hit my panic button.

He had 3 hits on Friday.

I know, I was just asking if anyone knew if this weekend was included?

I seem to remember Eades' fastball having much more movement. Now it seems pretty flat/straight. Maybe the short outing last nite could help

I was extremely encouraged from what I saw out of McCune last night. The 2 innings he pitched last night were better than anything I've seen since Florida last season. He was sharp and he was locating very well. It's all about location for McCune. He could be a valuable asset for us down the stretch, if he continues to pitch well.

McCune is the new sunday starter.

Yea I saw, but I'm not ready to give up on Glenn just yet. We will need him down the stretch with some of the injuries we have sustained.

Yeah, but if Glenn looks good, he'll have to come out next sunday as well

He was hitting over .340 before last night.

What bothers me the most bout Eade's outting was that bama is...was...one of the worst hitting teams in the conference & they lit him up from the get go. He slumped just like this last yr. And now he has to face the Cocks with his confidence low. Raph has left a ton of runners on base in scoring position, regardless of his batting average capabilities, with several K's & DP's.
