Random Question(Umpire Assignments for Regionals)

Does anyone know where to get information on which umpires are assigned to which regionals? Call me crazy..but I'm really hoping we do NOT get SEC umps throughout the post-season. I feel like they called a horrible strike zone all year, especially for us. I feel like a bigger zone would benefit our staff.
As an aside, I also feel like SEC umps somehow got off on calling balls when Skenes was pitching particularly. Every outing there were a handful of obvious strikes called balls.

In this dead time of nothingness, I think it’s a legitimate question.

Dont believe SEC umps are allowed to call our games. The host teams conference umps will not be assigned their regional.

I don't believe SEC umpires are allowed to officiate games involving SEC games for the rest of the year.

Sounds great to me!

The umpires in CBB usually work for multiple Conferences. Hopefully the NCAA has graded out substandard performers for post season. No guarantees.

I guess they keep it neutral so I could see ACC or Big Ten or Big 12 umps involved
I would think they would have enough crews to spread it all out

It might be better for us to have SEC umps. Other teams won't be used to it like we will. With umps from another conference our hitters might get caught looking at strikes and our pitchers are too used to having to put it on a tee. Other teams will be walking everyone if we used SEC umps and swinging at "balls"

Putting it on a tee you say??

I have more confidence in our bats to adjust to a larger strike zone(against inferior pitching)

I thought they just mixed up all the umpires for postseason games? We had an SEC guy behind the plate for that final elimination game against OSU in 2017.

I hope it’s anyone except SEC (which I don’t believe we’re allowed to have) or PAC-10 refs.

Every one is already trying to find a reason bitch and gripe . If we are good enough umpires won’t matter. Toughen up snowflakes.

Won’t say that I won’t gripe, but the pac-10 has had some of the seemingly most incompetent officiating of college games that I’ve seen; granted, this is probably more applicable to (what I’ve seen of their crews in) football as I haven’t watched as many baseball games with their crews officiating. I simply made a statement on the internet about my preferences, and I am well aware that it will make any difference to the people actually assigning which umps go where. Either way, I want the tigers to win, hopefully do it by going 3-0, and be done with this regional.

I have no idea how it really works but I’d bet the rant puts more thought into it than the NCAA does.
It’s probably just a list of umpires who want to work the games and they randomly get assigned to regional sites.
