I agree with the absolutes on either side of the argument. It would be difficult to find a less qualified coach though.

80% of Tiger fans agree with you and will do just that. 80% of Ranturds who represent 1.5% of fan base will disagree and do what they do .

If LSU has the type of season most think it will what will be your excuse? I've already stated several times that if O can go 10-2 in the regular season with this schedule then I'll be a believer.

I wholly agree. Rally 'round the flag, baws, and rally 'round our Tigers!

The jury's still out on the 2018 Tigers. Coach Oeaux and The Thinking Man's Quarterback are still innocent until proved guilty.

Am I reading this correctly? You believe that Orgeron has an 80% approval rating?

Ree

what 2018-19 record would make you admit O isnt the right coach?

you were fine and dandy losing 4 games in a season where 8 of our 9 wins came against 6 loss teams

want him gone too....but let's not act like the next guy will absolutely be better. There is no way of knowing that for sure....especially with the admin that is in place now

i can almost guarantee the next coach will have a better resume.
literally any semi successful coordinator has a better resume than O.

bullshite

10 wins at lsu should be the floor

10 wins allows you to lose to 3 teams

there isnt 3 teams we play with a massive talent advantage over us next year. good god the goalpost moving is atrocious.

the o lovers are moving those goal posts more and more. Wait until next year they will still say LSU is young and 8 wins are good enough.

Why are y'all acting like Aranda is not the Coach in waiting? He's not being paid 2.5 for nothing.

He will have less experience than O had as a new hire.

Honestly, I would rather Aranda. He's at least been a successful coordinator and is known as a detail oriented guy. I would rather have taken a chance on him, but that is just my way of thinking. If I'm making the decision, someone with Orgeron's resume has to prove it at a smaller school first.

For as much faith as they purport to have in Orgeron and his staff, you'd expect their bar to be raised higher than everybody else.

Instead, many claim 9-10 wins is an indicator of success, or they refuse to make any prognostications at all. It's befuddling since Orgeron himself would expect better.
