Speaking of Devonta Lee, what is the thought on jacking him up into the 240’s and turning him into a killer OLB.
He has the potential to be a top 10 pick as a LB imo.

"Sullivan like Jimmy Graham."
You mean Sullivan has alligator arms?

Emory is getting comparisons to LeSean McCoy, Chris Curry is getting comparisons to Marshawn Lynch. Stephen Sullivan is like Jimmy Graham
That's fine and dandy, but let me know when Charles gets compared to Jonathon Ogden and Deculus gets compared to Joe Thomas.

Why doesn't Drew just make another Jimmy Graham then?
Are you denying that Drew doesn’t make receivers a lot better than they are. Same as tom Brady does. Good QB’s make everyone around them better

Curry got hit as soon as he touched the ball. You may speak the truth, but no way should anyone make a judgment about Curry based on what we saw in the games.

This sums up the entire LSU football program the last several years.

Yes, you cannot judge Curry on what we saw last year. The guy had terrible luck.

Add Joe Burrow getting comparisons to Drew Brees to this list.
This could be an epic year for the offense

Why hasn’t the other 2 teams Jimmy Graham has played with made Jimmy Graham look like Jimmy Graham with the Saints? Drew Brees is still breaking records since Graham left. Jimmy Graham? Not so much
I just saw this, sorry for the late response. It’s because Graham let success go to his head, and because, as you pointed out, Graham is no longer playing with as great a QB.
Now, answer my question: Why hasn’t Brees snapped his fingers and created the next Jimmy Graham? It’s because Graham was a special talent, and there isn’t another guy available with that talent.

Bet ban, Penrod?? Burrow gets at least ONE Heisman vote! Is it a bet?
No. I would never do a ban bet for the simple reason that I would be betting something I value (my posting) against something I don’t value (your posting).
Anyway, would you consider one vote makes him a Heisman candidate?

Heck no! I agree with you 100%. So, why doesn’t he produce another Jimmy Graham? It’s because he can’t. Those years when Graham was tearing up the league happened because a singular talent at TE matched up with one of the greatest QBs of all time.
Like a lot of people who achieve success young, Graham let it affect him, and he stopped doing the things that made him great. He also took a step down in QBs.

No problem. We are still cool

Jimmy Graham’s combination of size and athleticism is hard to find. But he is not some “otherworldly” talent as proven by his lack of production since leaving the Saints.
Stephen Sullivan has that same combination of size and athleticism. In the right offense with right QB he can do the same thing Graham did with Saints.
