I think Iowa is definitely a better team than Michigan but they are not near as interesting a matchup

The game sucks this year, but usually you're looking at Clemson/Miami/NC State/maybe a random FSU sometimes. Thats WAAAAY better than any of the BIG 10 options the florida bowls provide, and ATL is a much better place to go than any of the FLA spots IMO.
And that ignores the fact that CFA has a preferable primetime TV slot and isn't playing at the same time as 5 other shitty arse NYD bowls.

Just because LSU goes a lot, and its seen as lesser because of its slotting in the SEC bowl pecking order, doesn't mean its necessarily a worse bowl than the FLA bowls.
There's a reason its becoming part of the playoff rotation, and none of the FLA SEC bowls are. Its a better run event with a better host city.
LSU/UM and LSU/Clemson were both really strong match-ups, and GT is an interesting enough opponent.
