Rabalais: LSU won't use all of its allotted practices

The Advocate's Scott Rabalais just said on Sports Today that LSU will not use all 15 available bowl practices.
I thought Hanny was going to blow a gasket, and I think I might too.
At least have the freshman go through practice if you want to rest the upperclassmen.
Don't understand this at all.
EDIT: From an LSU press release, will use 12 practices.
Practices will start on Thursday.

Practice, we talking about Practice......

Does any other coach in America forego some of the additional practices? Honest question. Coaches always say those extra practices are the primary benefit of a non-playoff bowl.

For a game against the heisman winner.

Only thing I can think of is trying to give players extra time to visit their families over break
Posted on 12/13/16 at 12:59 pm to MrWiseGuy
How many will they use then?

Boy this program has become a circus since we hired our new head coach.

Alleva's work ethic rubbing off.

It's no longer just getting comical. It's nearly farcical at this point.

We won't use all 15 practices. My God the sky is falling.

They badly need the reps - and, another thing - the redshirts need to be getting the new plays - I know we don't have an offense, but surely Aranda can use the time with the kids who didn't play this year to get ready for more of what he wants to do next year.
You don't have to go full speed if you don't want to - and I'm for letting kids work on academics if they need it (finals should be over now, though) and visit with families.
This doesn't bode very well. We'll see at the bowl game, I guess.
