re: Rabalais: Does LSU's injuries make a case for Ed Orgeron to keep his job? Probably Not

i walked away from a conversation with an O-bot that said “you can’t fire O this year, Ohio State already has 2 losses”.
A. no they don’t.
B. I don’t really give a shite about them and don’t use them as a reason to make any LSU decisions.

Just last night I was at a bar with some family, I brought up O and they immediately came with the "you can't fire a guy for one bad game!" spiel.
If O was going to be fired gif one bad game, he would have been fired after the Mississippi State game last year.
The fact is we are consistently losing to lower level SEC teams now. Look at MSU, Missouri and Kentucky. Throw in UCLA, and A&M and we are t as lying about a lot of losses.

These were the people loudest wanting him hired initially. And probably the same crowd that rioted for miles to be retained in 2015.

Why do you use “Cajuns” like it’s a dirty word? Are you prejudiced against Cajuns?

How many players were out for UCLA?

Center Liam Shanahan is doing his best, but LSU should have a top-shelf center who signed out of high school who can play that position.

That kid was NEVER coming here. It was not a knock against the LSU coaches.
He wanted to go out of state. It happens.
There are plenty of "misses" to go on about. SVP is not one.
That was common knowledge, but O kept recruiting him hard. I have no problem with that; however, wd should have recruited s center in the 2028, the 2019 class and the 2020 class and didn’t get anybody that could play center in the SEC.
But we got umpteen four and five star WRs.
That’s one example of poor roster management.

You could argue that his sub-standard S&C program is what is leading to all these injuries.

Down voted for quoting that shite rag and supporting them

Rabalais seems bored and just wants something to stir up the masses. It’s safe to say the solid majority want O gone and rightfully so. That minority that pumps him up are the same people who leave at halftime, watch 4 games each year on tv, and think his accent is funny. You ask most of his supporters anything football related and you might as well ask a 4 year old child.

The injuries are staggering, but they also serve to highlight LSU’s recruiting issues and lack of player development. LSU signed eight five-star players from 2018-20. Three of those are injured (Boutte, Ricks, Stingley) and one is ineligible (Emery). Of the other four — Ja’Marr Chase, Terrace Marshall, Arik Gilbert and Marcel Brooks — opted out and/or transferred.
Injuries don’t also account for all of LSU’s deficiencies on the offensive line. Center Liam Shanahan is doing his best, but LSU should have a top-shelf center who signed out of high school who can play that position. A lot of LSU's offensive line recruits have struggled to play at all, or play well.
This is reminiscent of this guy:

Rabalais is such a loser
Can you refute what he wrote? Sound to me he's writing that this poop show of a football team isn't because of injuries and attrition, but poor player development, poor OL/DL recruiting, and poor coaching.

The same roster management that Les, deservedly, got criticism for but was also used by the CherriOs to defend the lack of depth and talent in the trenches his for first couple of years.

He's a loser for even brining up injuries. Everybody has injuries. We suck b/c of one reason right now.
Posted on 10/14/21 at 2:47 pm to WPBTiger
There was a caller to the Patrick Neatherton show who espoused the opinion that the team's injury issues merit the retention of Coach O's job.

Honest question, who are these people? Cajuns from where O is from? Louisiana folks who still think he's "one of us?" Facebook fans who saved Les vs Aggy "LES IS LSU" types? Like what is the rationale for still supporting this guy?
They are out there, they are on this board. A telltale sign is when they preface their comments with "I want him gone too, but..." or something like that.
