How many season tickets can one person have at TS?

Reason I ask is was at cookout this past weekend and overheard guy say he had 30+ seats. On LSU ticket site I did see maximum in lower bowls is 10 and in lower bowl end zone, 10, but is it possible someone can control 30 under one name? Just curious and sorry if this has been answered other places, did not see in search. And no, I can only afford my 4 so not looking to add.

Prior to last season my father had 9 in his name (lower bowl chair-backs). They were acquired gradually over the course of several years. Started out with two in the mid 70's, then gradually bought more that came available to him over the years. He would buy all 9, but use only 2. The other 7 were sold to other friends and families.

Sounds great, until you can't find anyone to buy your extra tickets. Then you're stuck paying a huge bill for your 9, which is why he has gradually released them back to LSU.

So I guess theoretically 1 person could have have 30 ticket in his (or more likely) his business's name that were acquired well before any rules were in placed prohibiting such.

In short, yes. Either through grandfathered in from old rules, inheriting, or having them strategically spread out throughout the stadium.

Yep, it's just a luxury now days. With the TAF donations so high, it makes no financial sense but we keep getting them.

Anyone interested in 'just face-value' for my Northwestern State tickets? Not flying down for that one. Didn't think so

We have about 50 or 55 season tickets throughout Tiger Stadium (i’ve honestly lost count) and a half dozen parking passes.. reason being my grandfather started buying them up decades ago.. we obviously dont use them all, we sell them to friends and family at face value for the most part... so long story short, there is no limit, although that may only apply to people like myself who were literally ‘grandfathered’ in.

ETA: the only reason i keep them all in my name is because it helps with accumulating TAF points, to get tickets for away games, bowls, neutral games, etc

So you're laying out north of 50k for tickets per year...

I heard (but don't know for sure) that season tickets bought through TAF in the pre-2000's do not have a tradition fund payment on them, so possible some people (luck ones) are only paying face, right?

Way north.. i write a check to TAF every year for over six figures... or credit card, more accurately.. fortunately, most of that is recouped from family and friends (Tiger fans only) who buy the tickets from me.. i dont make any money off of them, i actually lose some money every year so i may start letting some tickets go back to the school.

Some of our tickets dont have a TAF donation attached , but the vast majority do.

Don't know about everyone, but I have tickets that I have had pre-2000, and I definitely pay TAF fees.

The maximum amount of tickets at present is 8 in the lower bowl end zones, 8 in the lower bowl sidelines, 8 in the upper deck, and as many as you can afford in the stadium club and suites, but there is a yearly limit for new club tickets (4 new tickets a year maybe?).

I having a hard time believing there are that many people willing to pay for tickets to attend that headache. I have 6 and use 2. I can't give them away most games. People would rather watch from home now days rather than put up with the parking and traffic. Not to mention it's hot as hell early in the season.

Believe me or dont, makes zero difference to me.

These are tickets, for the most part, that have been ‘spoken for’ for years and years, friends and family that pay only face value, nothing more, for tickets that are spread throughout the stadium.. sure, a lot of times they dont use them for games against the likes of Northwestern State or Georgia Southern, but when the games against Florida and Bama roll around they sure are happy to have them at face value.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread though, i’m probably going to be letting several go back to the school over the next few years, since keeping up with who owes me what, and trying to collect payment *before* i have to write that check to TAF every year has become sort of a headache.
