Questions about Sitting in Suites at a LSU baseball game

I bought 4 suite tickets at an auction, I have never sat up there before. How many seats are in a suite? Is there a separate catering menu or do you just get food from regular concessions? Where is the entrance? Any other tips or advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. I'm a bleacher bum living the high life for 1 game.

Seats range from 19-40. Usually the food is catered although there is a common area that serves concessions. Elevators are on the East side and SE side. Have fun.

Are we talking football or baseball?
If baseball, you can use elevator behind home plate or take stairs at first & third base sides of concourse. Food is included and typically will be ordered by owner of suite. Few times I sat there, it was a mix of ballpark food (burgers, hot dogs) and fried fish. Frig stocked with soft drinks and beer.

Get drunk and yell at blue when they make bad calls against the tigers.

And pay attention. Foul balls often bounce off suites or ricochet off of stadium cover into them (if you're down the lines and not behind the net).

I think there are 12 seats outside, 3 or 4 stools on the inside by a counter looking through glass outside and a couple of standing room tickets. Usually a couch and a couple of chairs with closed circuit tv. May be bigger suites, but most are like that. Most don't pay attention to seat number, so probably want to feel that out in that particular suite. Good view of field. (Hope you get to watch the game instead of having to carry on conversation in suite). Should be a great experience!

Beware of the spiders in there

Only sat there once. Never again. Beautiful places, nicely appointed, but most of the people I saw were there for the party and not the game. Lots of chatting. Looked around and had groups of folks with their backs to the action and would turn around when they heard cheering. Rohan Davey walked in with his daughter and he was the center of attention for 10 minutes...like there wasn't even a game being played. If I want a cocktail party game, I'll go to the dome and watch the saints lose.
Sorry. I'm talking football. Should have read more before typing!

this is the only negative I find to watching from suites...there are always a good number of folks in them who aren't really interested in the game. everything else is primo, though!

I'm imagining you getting enraged when someone asks how you're doing because it made you miss a meaningless second down play 3 minutes into the first.

I had some a few years back. It was really nice, but honestly for baseball, I preferred sitting in my regular seats. I suppose it's what your use to.

As mentioned earlier food pre-ordered so when you get there it should be there and it's nothing special. You have the option of going to the concession stand. There may be alcohol but what depends on the each suite owner, usually beer, a little wine and maybe few bottles of liquor.
Most wives are usually socializing inside and could't care less about the game.
The best view is from the chairs outside but no beer cans there.

Is it a regular suite or the special one at the end that isn't catered. LSU requires (or used to) require the suites to be catered on the weekends so there will be food if a regular suite. There will also be beer and liquor depending on what the suite owner provides. Ice machine next to fridge, ice chest with beer. All depends on the suite owner if they do burgers, hamburgers, pasta, nachos, etc. Usually better than the concession stands especially since it is there and you just help yourself. Must use a cup outside, cannot use a beer bottle outside.

Tell me more about this! I would love to have a shot a suite tickets.
It is about as good as life can get. Seats inside and out; free booze; separate catering in the suite, and in the common room outside of the suites; free booze; TV's to watch the other games; and free booze.

Ask for Steve. He pours the drinks strong.

Baseball suites, you make your own drinks...pour as you dare. :)
