Quick question (bet antiquetiger knows!),sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know where I can find a link to "Men of LSU" I think it was shown on PBS in mid 1980's, but may be older, thanks

Nobody knows how to get a copy. I posted an inquiry about this a few times over the past eight years and nobody on here could find a copy.

If anybody out there has a copy, please share!!!

Thanks Tigahs, I even checked with LSU and no one there seems to have one, nor does PBS, but we will find out some day...

To tell you the truth, I was kind of embarrased by those fans they showed. Sure, they were passionate, but they just came off as stupid drunks. If I remember correctly they even showed them driving drunk in the show.

If I'm not mistaken, the guy hollerin' when the title "Men of LSU" appears is Big Red, the guy that started the "Tigerbait" chant. You could hear his voice all over the stadium.

Great stuff, Thanks for putting it up

My favorite line:

"From 1958, what had been conventional fan support took on slightly excessive overtones. . . Tiger Stadium turned into a looney bin"

That doesn't sound at all like the Baton Rouge I know.
