When you have an SEC champion, the numbers seem to show that they should get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to choosing the contenders for the championship. The Big 12 should not (especially now, having lost Nebraska and being required to play more mediocre teams from old the Big 12 Nort...

Agreed - it is easy to play the numbers. My issue with the NCAA numbers is that it appears to be completely based upon the win-loss record of the opponent. This is certainly a valid way to sort the numbers, but other factors (such as a BCS ranking, whether the game is a home or away game, etc.) are ...

Definitely. I thought another interesting note was that Texas' SOS in those seven years was 50. That was much lower than I expected, playing in the Big 12....

I appreciate the good things that Toliver has done for the school. He has made his mistakes, as most people do in college. However, I really want him to succeed and I hope this setback only gets him to work harder. :geauxtigers:...
