Just looked it up. 70% of that county is vaxxed, so having more vaxxed people dying in that county isnt crazy
Sure, that makes sense.
I just want the division to stop.
If you are vaxxed, then great. You are protected. Just move along and don't blame all the world ills on the unvaxxed.
This is a COVID problem first. Not an unvaxxed problem. People blaming the unvaxxed have NO IDEA of people's personal medical condition. Some may be contraindicated for the vaccine. Some may have had COVID and are extremely low risk. Everyone is different with different medical dispositions.

Well, even if thats your stance, you cant say that about kids 11 and under, they dont have the vaccine option yet

If me taking the vaccine would help your grandson I would do it in a second. No questions asked.
But unfortunately I don't think it works like that. There is no medical treatment that I can receive that can help anyone but myself.

Wow... That is really big of you. Alcohol killed more people across the world last year than Covid. You need to get to work on banning that devil water, and those pesky cigarettes, and cars for that matter. We must protect our brethren from all things WE deem scary to THEM. RIGHT?
MY DECISIONS ARE NONE OF YOUR frickING BUSINESS.
We have laws restricting all of those things. Even then, it’s entirely legal for you to drink yourself to death as long as you don’t get into your car and endanger someone else. It’s entirely legal for you to kill yourself with cigarettes as long as you don’t breathe your secondhand smoke into someone else’s lungs. And it’s entirely legal for you to make the choice to remain unvaccinated, but that doesn’t give you the right to endanger others who have taken advantage of an easily available public health measure.

That is just flat out wrong when it comes to vaccines.

I know what you are saying from a public policy point of view however from an individual point of view I am helping humanity more by not taking the vaccine with natural immunity which leads to eventual herd immunity. Natural immunity is much broader and deeper immunity. I know it's controversial for me to say that in the age of COVID, but natural immunity is just better. It's been that way with every virus before COVID and it hasn't changed with COVID.

You are a totalitarian prick.
Your health is not my responsibility. And mine is not yours.
You wouldn't like it if I got to dictate your health decisions to you like you are trying do to me.

Not to mention taking up all the hospital beds for regular issues like heart attacks.
In that case, why doesn't LSU only serve healthy whole foods on campus. No processed or high in sugar foods. You know, it's for everyone's own good

Immunity caused by the vaccine also contributes to herd immunity, but without nearly as many hospitalizations or deaths.

That’s been proven false in the case of SARS-CoV-2. Vaccination provides better immunity to reinfection and decreases the risk of infection with new variants compared to natural immunity, and it significantly lessens the risk of severe disease and death if you are in the small minority of vaccinated people who do get infected.

I'm not dying dummy. I'm unvaccinated and I have NOT been sick in 5+ years. And you did not answer my question. If the Frankenshot is so great then why do you need me to take the jab? Answer it stupid
Posted on 8/24/21 at 10:13 pm to Bert Macklin FBI
Oh the unvaccinated are taking up hospitals? Really? My dad got the Frankenshot and has been admitted to the ER three times. So much for your argument moron

Because everyone who gets it gives the corona virus an opportunity to evolve in to something worse. It has done that at least 4 times since the original. The Delta virus is 160% more contagious. What are you waiting to se happen. For it to get the ability to overcome the immunity of the children? Sub 16s down to 12s are coming close to being endangered. If you have children you are doing them a disservice or doing one for other children in your family or friends or anybody you don’t know.
It can also evolve into something more more deadly.
This is the safest vaccine ever made. The effect on people like 99.9999% is negligible. If anyone who like the pandemic to stay around and potentially get worse so they can bitch about attendance protocols at football game is the dumbest of dumb fu*cks.
Did that answer your question?

I don't go to the hospital because I am unvaccinated and therefore never sick. You vaccine nazis realize that more people have died from the COVID 19 Frankenshot than all other vaccines combined. That's effective..

Actually it is, because we live in a civilized society.
From a purely fiscal standpoint, your health affects my wallet. Insurers set costs based on the grouped risk of all their customers. If more of their customers are at risk of getting sick and requiring expensive treatment, premiums go up. Medicare and Medicaid costs increase if more people get sick. As a taxpayer, that matters to me. If someone is disabled and requires social security disability, that increases the cost of the social security program, which could decrease my future benefit or delay the age at which I can receive it. I pay payroll tax, so that matters to me too. if nothing else, there’s a fiscally conservative argument for wanting people to get vaccinated.
From a moral standpoint, I don’t want to get other people sick if there’s something I can easily do to decrease the chance of that happening. I’d hope that other people would feel the same way.
quote:

You’re right that I wouldn’t want anything dictated to me. No one is being forced to do anything. People have been given a choice about whether to attend a football game. If they want to go, they have multiple options: get a free vaccine, or get a test to prove they aren’t infected. If they prefer not to do either of those things, then they can choose not to go to the football game. We live in a society of rules. We make choices within the rules constantly, even when the rules may be inconvenient.

Good for you. You are only one person in a world of 7 billion so while I’m sure you’re important to your friends and family, you aren’t statistically significant. Other people are getting sick, and lots of them. I hope you don’t get sick (from COVID or something else) and need a hospital bed that isn’t available, or have pain that can’t be treated because elective procedures have been stopped to reroute those medical personnel to makeshift ICUs.

I’m glad your dad was able to be treated and wasn’t turned away because the ER was full. What did he go to the ER for?

That's not the narrative, it's when your government tries to force everyone to get a shot that has already killed and paralyzed over 65,000 people world wide. That's the narrative!
