Question about LSU vs. UCLA 2021

I hope to god I'm not jynxing us but I wanted to discuss a scenatio.
Currently LSU is schedule to play at UCLA. UCLA plays its home games at the Rose Bowl, the most historic venue in college football and a place LSU has never played. I think almost every tiger fan who travels for games has this one marked to attend as its a once in a lifetime event. However, UCLA is located in Westwood and Pasadena is on the complete other side of Los Angeles. They travel farther to their own home stadium than they do when they play at USC in the Coliseum.
With the new Rams stadium being built much closer in Inglewood what are the odds UCLA arranges to play their home games there instead of the Rose Bowl and we get shafted and forced to watch the game in (albeit incredible and new) a soulless NFL venue? I hope even if UCLA moves their home games, they'd allow this game to still happen at the Rose Bowl. Does anyone know if UCLA is interested in moving venues and if that's even feasible? I'm not sure how the Rose Bowl operates and if they depend on 7-8 UCLA home games per year, etc...
TIA

Aren't the Chargers sharing that stadium with the Rams?

I believe so but does that preclude a college team from also playing on Saturday?

While that is helpful that article is almost a decade old and doesn't consider there being an updated NFL stadium in LA. Leases can be broken or restructured (which is exactly what happened in that article) based on changing circumstances.

I don't think you have to worry about UCLA moving their games. Playing in the Rose Bowl is one of the few perks they have.

I’d rather have a home and home with Michigan.

Yeah, aside from a world class education and living 4+ years in Westwood.

It’s amazing how UCLA has been pretty ordinary as far as football goes with all they have to offer. I mean USC is in the fricking ghetto and they get players from all over the place......

I live out here. They will not move the game. UCLA has a contract with the Rose Bowl. Don’t stress about this.

Must be why they have such a great football team.

I've never understood their underperformance. Perhaps they're sleeping giant status, much like LSU pre-Saban.

There is just an extreme apathetic attitude towards football there. Literally their only draw ( attendance wise ) is playing in the rose bowl.
Which was what i meant by my post. I realize they have a lot of things going for their school in general but in terms of butts in seats is Rose Bowl or bust.

Also, confirmed. Zero talk of a move whatsoever. Rosebowl would be pretty damn fun with a bunch of tiger folk out here. Tailgating on a golf course ? you bet, they park cars on the fairways and you tailgate on the course.

I’ve had the Rose Bowl game circled since they announced it 4 or 5 yrs ago.. Let’s just hope to whoever you pray to that UCLA and their conference release more than the paltry 3500 tickets for visiting fans that UT and their crappy conference are releasing.. Also it helps that the Bruins’ fanbase as a whole isn’t as passionate as the Longhorns’.

Plenty of tickets will be available.

That place pretty much sucks except for the weather. My daughter has lived thereabouts for six years. I was there two weeks ago. It’s like living in uptown nola, but with good weather and more bums. The beach is okay - not nearly as nice as Florida’s - but the water is freezing. Plus the traffic is unbelievably bad. If you have an idea to do something in LA half a million other people had the same idea.
Okay, for real, the weather is awesome.

I agree.... the traffic alone sets my alarm off.... not to mention shitty beaches, earthquake at any moment , way too many people, and the cost of living out there is nuts.......
