During the Clemson-Ohio St. game broadcast, Fowler said that Lebron James sent Beats headphones to all of the Ohio St. players and told them to make the most of their opportunity in the game.

How is that not impermissible benefits and a NCAA violation?

Didn't OBJ give cleats to all the LSU players?

Approved brand by NCAA, much like Nike for Odells gift to the LSU players for the shoes.

Approved, Brand, then ambassador like Lebron.

Not sure but I know we’d be in the same boat since obj supposedly sent cleats to our guys before the peach bowl

What is LeBron's affiliation with OSU? Just that he was at Cleveland for a while or something?

Because as they said about the cleats sent by OBJ, they send the “donation” to the Athletic Dept and they disperse.

Don’t know why that makes a difference, but that is what the announcers said during the Peach Bowl broadcast or prior, don’t remember which

Players are allowed a certain monetary value in gifts for the various bowl games. I think $500 total value.

Edit: would you prefer to go to the Lawnmower Bowl or the PlayStation Bowl?

OBJ is a prior player. What's LeBron to Ohio State?
