With Eitling on the roster and eligible next year and whispers of Franks flipping to FSU, is Eitling good enough to replace Harris? Harris has a cannon but zero accuracy. He can't throw receivers open and he's very slow making decisions. 2016 is an excellent opportunity to win it all, just hate to see it ruined by bad quarterback play.

Harris has shown perfectly good arm talent. His development from last year strictly on how he has thrown the ball and works in game is fine. He has done everything the staff has asked him to do. I would be shocked if he were healthy and not starting next year.

ZERO? So, he's completed no passes at all this year? I think he's missed a few but to say he has ZERO is extreme and...well, this thread sucks.

ETA: I just searched "Felipe Franks Florida State."

Nada.

Well I must be in the dark but I thought Franks was a sure thing (as "sure" things go in recruiting)...I had not kept up with the Recruiting Board lately and it must have gotten by me...Geez...oh well, we press on

WOW! Your take on Harris is ridiculous! Maybe if he had a receiver who could catch the ball you would have a different opinion. Harris will be our QB the rest of this year and next

THIS year is an opportunity to win it all! We don't play a decent opponent until mid October and already have 2 west wins. Find me another year where the west is this weak and Bama is vulnerable.

This year is a scheduling gift! The path may never be this favorable again.

Dude post less.
1. Brandon Harris has actually been very accurate and our WR have no attacked the ball to make plays. Drops are our primary and maybe only problem at this point.

2. Felipe has been nothing but solid through this process to LSU.

3. If they didn't think Etling could contribute they wouldn't have brought him in.

We have receivers, running backs, and possibly tight ends who will be playing in the NFL in a few years. Harris will be fortunate to get a spot in Arena Football.

I remember this same nonsense about dropped passes when JJ was behind center.

I think Etling is a nice option to have. I expect him to help us at some point. Harris has time to keep improving and building awareness and chemistry with wrs. The passing game doesn't look great, but he needs some help as well.

Seemed to me since he didn't have many opportunities prior weeks, they made a point to work on deep ball. Clearly there is room for improvement, and he will, but QB's have off nights time to time. He's been very accurate in intermediate passes this year, so all things considered not worried in the least.
He seemed extra amped to be unleashed first time all year, he will be fine

They couldn't attack the ball because the defender was in the way except for the one Dural drop. He consistently throws to the wrong guy. Plays that are called to exploit matchups still have checkdowns and he doesnt do it. If we had a quarterback like that extremely average one at Arkansas we'd win it all.
