I don’t like this statement but it’s not that far fetched.

A poster mentioned TJ would need time to develop that just doesn’t happen this day in age in college football world at qb. You have most likely Nuss next year and perhaps Arch the year after.

O is going after a top flight QB every year, which is needed now to make the playoffs and win a championship.

That’s nussmeier in the white windbreaker next to the coach in black(who I think is the analyst from Sanmford) he looks really small compared to Johnson

Callaway? Looks like he's more than just an analyst. He was working with the QBs all day.

Shea on 247 mentioned that he was one of the analyst

Analysts aren't allowed to function as on the field coaches though, right?

I think doing the spring they are. Once fall hits they are not allowed. Good be wrong.

You can coach accuracy. He has really great arm. He has a nice release that can't be coached. I agree the guy needs to work hard if he wants to see the field, but he has arm talent and potential. I don't know anything about Finley other what I saw in the video. I doubt he'll see the field this year, but didn't see any reason why he couldn't start at LSU.

there's a year gap between Nuss and Arch. Arch is a freshman right now; 2023 class. Not to mention he's a Manning, so doubtful.

Lol. Whatever rules there are aren’t enforced.

These analysts are basically full blown assistants now.

Munoz had a head set on during every game and talked to Burrow and others as they came off the field and while they were on the sidelines.

I consider that “on field coaching”. Perhaps you have a different definition.

And that’s Callaway.

Max Johnson is bigger (height-wise) than I originally thought. He also looks pretty polished as a freshman.

Peter Parrish was absent from practice. Not a good look considering it's the first day: Transfer Portal on tap.

TJ still looks quite raw with his throwing motionand lower body: Will never be a starting QB at LSU. Transfer Portal in a year or two

Of course that is your dream scenario semjackass (BRAVEHEAT). Send Finley and Parish to the portal and pass on Williams. We know where you stand in those matters. You consider each, in your words, a "glorified running back". And while you are at it, I'm sure you can replace 4 of the starting O-Linemen with some "up north" players.

I hope that Finley is awesome. But if he keeps growing, he's going to be playing the wrong sport. He's already listed at 6'7. He might grow another inch or two. That is too tall to play QB. There aren't any 6'9 QBs for a reason.

I'd love for him to keep playing football. But spend more time with basketball. We might get a solid post player 2-3 years down the line and it won't cost a scholarship. Plus its just better for him..

If your Parrish, you have to feel good about your future as the second string redshirt freshman. The only thing that would deter that is if a true freshman came in and made a big impression.

Parrish probably knew he had no future here when he went through drills last fall. He has the weakest arm I’ve seen on an LSU scholarship QB.

I was super impressed with Brennan. So confident, deliberate, in full control. Finley certainly looked terrible, but Myles in his 4th season, and afinley should still be in high school. You could tell he just wasn’t confident. He may never get it, but he’s got the raw tools if he takes to coaching and the light comes on. But he’s a couple years away at least, obviously.

And I know it’s just 1 clip and I’ll likely catch shite, but Johnson strikes me as a high floor/low ceiling type guy. Pretty polished already for his age, but how much better can he actually get? Or he could be the next Tebow—wtf do I know?

You must be kidding. Nobody will be above Burrow. He is the GOAT.

Finley needs to move to TE. Big arm but not accurate at all. Same way in high school
