Well, by all means, somebody get ahold of Brian Kelly and tell him, this guy has "heard and read" so that should make Kelly's decision much easier!

Pretty sure Saban has shown that you can win with elite lines and a B or B+ QB. But, I agree that a QB that can hit the 10-15 yard chain-moving throws will help open up the run game. Accuracy and 3rd down conversions are keys -TDs will follow you accomplish the first two

Elite college football is pretty closely mirrors the NFL. QBs win championships because at the top, everyone has athletes on defense.

Based on everything I’ve heard and read. Nussmeier is the only QB that can make a very good team even better.

Running and picking up 3rd downs when there’s no other option is great (well done, Jordan Jefferson).

But a QB who can pick apart a defense with their arm, decision making, and accuracy should win the QB competition 100% of the time, especially when the WRs are elite.

Nussmeier isn’t slow anyways.

Yes, I think a Daniels-lead LSU offense will be able to move the ball well against just about any college defense. However, the elite of the elite will probably make him look like the minor league QB he is.

Unless Nussmeier has been turnover prone in practice and scrimmages, CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS, play him now.

If the WRs are as good as advertised, let the better passing QB play.

Team Nussmeier

- accuracy
- decision making
- arm strength
- quick release
- mobility

Give him the ball. Let him prove he’s just a “fall ball Heisman”. The WRs deserve it.

If it's a strong accurate arm you are looking for them Miles Brennan was your guy. If it's the best QB for the Job I think BK and co. Will figure it out.

You are misinformed, I’m not saying nuss wont start but Jaylan is a very accurate Passer. He avg 65% his freshmen year and 60 last year. You can not judge him from spring. Didn’t have time to sync with receivers

Well that isn’t true and you’d know it if you watched his games. 60% isn’t “very accurate”, it would’ve put him in the bottom 4 of the SEC last season and that was against PAC-10 competition where he relied on laterals and very short passes. His comp % between 10-15 yards was 46% again not “very accurate” at all.

Go rewatch the Arkansas game. With the exception of the touchdown to Bech Nuss’s first 10 throws are ehhh. Someone said he was “erratic,” and that seems to be appropriate from the sample size we have

I was as excited as anyone when he went in last year but sorry, didn’t see much of this. All I seen was Hail Marys to the receivers begging to be picked off.
