There's lots of CFB teams who have had multiple QBs in the mix that have been very successful.

Besides Leake and Tebow, who else has won anything noteworthy with a 2 QB system?

Ask All American Bert Jones what he thinks about the 2 QB system.

Worked out pretty well for Chris Leak and Tebow

And it worked well for us the following season with Flynn and perilloux

I'm just saying that even barring injuries, both will play. It'll be part of O's lure to keep them around and engaged as Tigers. And their skill sets are quite different, which has to keep defensive coaches alert to preparing for both styles.

Mark my word, they will both play, one probably more than the other, and both will be effective...

I am not for a straight 2 QB system, but I am all for using a second QB, with a different skill set, in specific situations. Until Perriloux got in trouble, the 2007 use was great between the 2 QB's and paid huge benefits in the SEC championship game because RP was ready to play when Flynn was hurt.

I think we will have that situation this year, with Brennan and Johnson. Johnson is a much better runner and if we can manage it properly, some situational plays should be very effective.

I hate this tired argument of going into season with a 2 qb system. It does not work period.

1. Leak/Tebow
2. Flynn/Perriloux
3. Tua/Hurts

What does those 3 have in common? Answer: National Championships

The Saints had a playoff team doing just that.

And they won a Super Bowl not doing that.

You just want depth of talent at the position not a feaking 2 qb system. I doubt any of us really believe that's a good idea when it has never worked outside of Leak/Tebow and that was like 1 game. Take Clemson last year. Trevor Lawerence goes down and you have a better talent to backfill him. That's what we currently have and our pipline is getting better

This wasn’t a 2 QB system.
