Yep, and we will work on that, but we sure as hell did not put our young QB in a situation to lose the game.

Why don't you look at amount of plays ran instead of time of possession?
Very well. They ran 80ish plays. Want them to run 100? PASS THE BALL.

Replace two short runs with incomplete passes, and Mississippi State another minute on the clock at the end. A good thing?

Replace those two runs with nice passes for 15-20 yards and miss st might not have a chance to come back at all

We squandered a very nice lead because we were scared to take a chance.

We were very lucky. I mean hell, a delay of game from Dak may have given us the game.

A delay of game....

Might not. My argument doesn't depend on a might not.

After the game, Les Miles was asked if Brandon Harris should be allowed to pass more. His response was to read Leonard Fournette’s stat line and conclude that “we have some other good players on our team.”

Many of those "other good players" never or rarely touched the ball because we didn't throw to them enough.

You ignored my response to you. I was polite and all things considered I'd appreciate a response to what I said.

Then shorten it. Reading the novel you wrote means I lose a valuable session of beat-off time.

Only. And I repeat, only because Dak made a very rare mental error and cost his team 5 yards, and the kicker overcompensated for his hook.

Most teams i.e. Auburn, bama, etc, we loose that game.

Was the game plan great if MSU's kicker makes the FG? Of course, not. We won, which is excellent. The play calling was overly conservative, failed to utilize out talent advantage, and nearly cost us a win.

Candy, nuts, uncles that should be aunts, blind ref reviews, phantom penalties, are also these.
I'm sure you'd find something to cry about if score was 42-19.

so even though we were a dropped 2 point conversion from MSU tying late in the 4th and then a missed FG away from losing the game plan was perfect? MMMkay.

I'm a Les game and a positiger through and through. That doesn't change the fact that we were way too close to losing that game. I think that's obvious.

And during the entire 2nd half, it was obvious what was happening. I can only hope that next time we're up by 18 points, Les would consider putting some more points in the board.

7 points came in 2nd half. 3rd qtr was better than 2nd or 4th. I think staff saw momentum swing and wanted to get out of Starkvegas with a W in the 4th.
