This defense looks totally different. McGlothern is the real deal. Secondary is deep.

I hope the door has been pushed open with spring football in the Southland, etc. during the pandemic.

This practice format is obsolete. The spring game should be a scrimmage against an opponent.

Easy to look good on the d line when you know they are passing every play since you only have one healthy running back.

This is probably true for the entire defense.

I'm not sure how to truly interpret spring games at times. Glad to be watching football again

It is. That said, this D looked bad in every game last year, even when they had huge talent advantages. Them looking organized and confident against anyone is improvement.

Our team is so incomplete at the moment there’s not a lot to take from it aside what shape people are in and a few individual plays. We’re missing a lot of impact players.
