Kind of wanted to see Priester play some at C

I’ve said it a few times and I’m sure I’ll get downvoted by people who don’t know the C position, but Priester isn’t ready for this level at C.

Can he learn and grow? Sure. But he still looks like a juco catcher at most.

His offensive stats from the spring scrimmages also agree

It’s nice knowing LSU has 6 good pitchers in the bullpen left and really don’t have to worry about pitch count

It sure looks like some of Shores' fastballs are faster that 97-98. Guess that's what they call an 'explosive' or 'lively' fastball.

I questioned this roster spot by Jay but he knows more than me. Guess he may see some potential, but I don’t.

I’m liking what I’m seeing from shores. I don’t think it’s going to take long for him to knock the rest of the rust off.

The ump doesn’t care, he’s calling them anyway.

Letter high outside is a strike every time with this ump. Whether you can hit it or not.
