Was a freshman going against Max Johnson who had just beat UF and Ole Miss the year before.
Most likely beat Brennan in this spring but lost out to a more steady JD5.

Which one of those QBs has competed close to the level of Burrow? In hindsight, it appears that maybe the Ohio Stated coaches had a mindset similar to Kelly. They preferred a dual threat QB.
Bro, if you believe in Kelly, then why in your opinion did he not get another QB from the Portal.
If, in your opinion, Nuss can't run the offense at a championship level, then Kelly is being neglectful in not getting a backup who is qualified.
Kelly came to win a championship.
The odds are not favorable to winning it all this season. He surely would have added to the roster, to enhance his chances if Daniels is injured, if the thought Nuss wasn't ready.

The guy knows he can play, and is a sprained ankle from starting. This is a huge sigh of relief for the coaches. You can be aggressive with running Daniels knowing you have a backup that can produce.
