wanna do a side by side with Nuss and our other QBs?
with the Heisman winners you wanted bench?
why would I care about them compared to Nussmeier?

Of course you don’t want everyone to see your hypocrisy and double standards. Btw you shouldn’t lie right after falsely accusing others of lying. Nuss’ success has really broken you.

When you are typing, you are lying.

You’re not good at gaslighting, way too obvious.

The other to Daniels was the almost crazy one-handed catch. That was only necessary because the CB interfered and grabbed Daniels’ other hand well before the ball came down. The pass was there. But you’ve made your opinions on Nuss plenty clear for everyone.
You can pull for Nuss while also being truthful. The guy struggles on a lot of deep balls. When he gets in rhythm it seems to work better but the guy struggles more than not throwing deep.
That’s not saying he sucks and can’t be helped. He needs to do a few things to get to the point where he wants to be. Another being to set his feet maybe once a game and make a throw

He was outstanding throwing deep when BTJ and Nabors were here. Nuss has improved since UGA and Wisky the WRs just aren’t as good.

Nuss has been incredible. Its the best start to an LSU QB career ever but he has had some issue with deep ball accuracy. I agree the WRs this year aren’t as good of deep ball threats but Nuss himself would likely tell you he needs to get better there. He’s still a top QB in the country. Everybody has weaknesses.

If our guys haul in the 4 or so extra TDs they should have this wouldn’t even be a discussion. We also had a couple penalties negate some deep connects.

And part of is is we’re not getting great separation
This, I will say, Chris Hilton, when healthy, got more separation from a defender than any player on this team.

Trying to devalue TDs and posting specific sets of numbers to attempt a negative portrayal are not "constructive criticism". And I have no preexisting bias that prevents me from understanding that.
Did I miss your posts comparing numbers through his first 8 starts to other QBs through their first 8? That would be a legit framing for that perspective.

The thread still hasn't seen your opinion on that deep pass to Daniels.
That would've been a much better addition than a random insult about someone's wife. Don't you agree?

the one where Daniels was open and had to basically stop to catch the ball and the Cb caught up and tackled him?
He completed it.
that’s good.
He’s hit 1 deep ball in stride all season.
He’s been really good on the other stuff, but he has oppertunities and he has not clicked. Outside the Parker TD which was a great throw.

I'm referring to the one that resulted in a PI penalty.
People forget about those plays, and they're not credited in box score stats, so they mostly go unaccounted. In the NFL, it's a spot foul, so those passes result in even more yards. But 15 yards and a first down is a positive play for an offense. And those are passes that need to be included in an overall evaluation of a QB.
How are you defining "deep ball"? If it's passes 20+ air yards, he has connected in stride with a number of those.
Remember the deep ball to Anderson against South Carolina? That was a bullseye shot.

Best all around athlete I have seen in years and BK knows he has a perfect diamond just in the tough Green is a beast . He is a Travis Hunter type will be unstoppable next year

How many times all year has he throw the ball where the WR was able to catch it and keep running straight to the endzone?
go and post routes.
He squeezed a good one into Anderson vs SCar. it was pretty tight coverage so I won’t argue the “in stride” part.
And the only other one I can think is Parker.

Using common efficiency stats that are popular in Pro football to measure a QB is not a targeted, negative portryal
The numbers are the numbers .

The answer is they are not really as open as you think they are….

There is a photo of him standing next to Aaron Anderson in formation and he just looks like a Giant. With his athletic ability he is an absolute mismatch. That should be able to be utilized for the rest of the year to put DBs or Linebackers (Depending on how defenses decide to play him) in horrible positions. If they put a linebacker or Safety on him he can win the route. If they put a nickel or corner on him he is going to bully them in the run game. Some of his perimeter blocking was absolutely dominating.
