I listen to the Boot Up podcast and the Hoops with Hunt Daily podcast. I wish Cody did boot up more but I love having the 20-30min talks on LSU hoops only. I literally refresh the espn page waiting for hoops with hunt daily.

I did one yesterday, but it got overshadowed by the Miles news and moved down. I bumped it back up but this one is better organized and if it can become the game thread that works as I am going to my second game of the season tonght

We're really not a young team, if anything we just are brewing chemistry, that's all. We're no more young a team than a Duke (who also starts 3 freshmen).
Have to remember, we have a 5th year senior in Bigby-Williams, a true senior in Daryl Edwards, a junior in Marlon Taylor, a junior in Skylar Mays and a much beyond his year sophomore in Tremont Waters. They are merely learning to all play with one another and the freshmen, but I dont really think we're all that "young" compared to some other top teams.
That's still 4 juniors or seniors logging at least 14 minutes per game right now. Not counting Tremont who you could almost lump right in there with all he has played and how he plays.

As well as Javonte plays like a junior or senior. I really think its our bigs lack of experience when it comes to defending bigs, screens, and rotating that is our biggest problem.

It really is sad, no doubt a majority of our fan base LSU is second or third fiddle to football or baseball, but this is a team even more so than Simmons only year here. That is not only a pleasure to watch, has NBA talent that will only be here a limited time, and plays hard and tough basketball. Its frustrating to see how little people care right now. It will improve as football ends and SEC play starts.

It's Friday night, it's a 7 o'clock game and we've got an in-state team coming in looking to pull a big upset. There are NO EXCUSES for there not to be a lit atmosphere at the Pmac tonight.. and what's with the high school football playoff excuse? Lol, that's the weakest of them all... Should I go watch future NBA players or a bunch of 16 year olds who struggle completing passes?
