What the hell was there to curse at last Saturday?

The officials called too good of a game. There was nothing to get upset over, which can drive a basketball fan crazy!

They really did call a good game. They let the players play, without getting it to out of hand.

The way Quarterman played against UAB was inspiring. I think it showed the maturity he has already gained and how important it is for him to continue to see minutes.

It's been 5 years since someone had 9 assists in a game for LSU and he only played 22 minutes. Not to mention he had 0 turnovers.

I think Odo's performance against Tech helped show that he will be a viable 5 if JOB gets into trouble. Especially if Mickey gets into trouble with him.

Malone still has some work to do, but he can't grow if he doesn't get time, so I agree that he needs 10+ minutes Saturday.

I think Odo is really key b/c JOB keeps getting in foul trouble he will have to contribute quality minutes, esp on the defensive end. I'm glad Morgan stayed and didn't leave he's been a real bright spot that isn't talked about enough.

You disagree? That was probably the best called game of the season.

I'll be there to grab my coffee mug. Gave away the tumbler as gift this year.

I hope what we saw from Quarterman was what we will continue to see during SEC play. I agree that if he continues to develop this year on par with his obvious talent, he could be a very special player before he leaves LSU.

Statistics are strange things. Hickey is shooting a better percentage on two point shots than Martin. That's got to change if we are to compete in SEC. Also Stringer, known as a three point specialist is shooting much better from two. Of course his two pointers are usually layups but then so are Hickey's?

It would be a big bonus for us. I think what you saw against UAB was more what the staff was expecting of him.

If he can mkae that type of permormance more the rule than the exception it might well be worth a couple of more wins for us and we need all we can get with the SEC being so down again.

The things that Quarter man did in the Uab is what he excelled at in high school, slashing to the basket, finding the open man and taking the wide open 3 when its there.I think he is finally adjusting to the speed of the game as I saw him blow by his man with ease several times and that's a big part of his game .

Confidence is such a big part of it. He has a couple of games in which he should be able to build on that.

Tennessee is a big athletic team. We'll need quality minutes form Quarterman.

Any game where the refs let the players play is a big advantage to us. Bottom line is we foul, and we foul a lot.
