Among the Power Five in 2020, the average staff is 44.2 years old. The coaching staff at LSU averages 55.2 years old, the oldest surveyed by a significant margin. Compared to other successful programs, Alabama (45.4), Clemson (46.8), Ohio State (48.1).

Someone wanna crunch the numbers with the additions of Peetz, Mangas, Jones, Baker, and Carter and the subtraction of Pelini, Linehan, and Johnson?

The one that won the NC in 2019. That dinosaur staff. Be careful what you wish for.

Not quite, since we replaced Brady (30) and Aranda (44) with Linehan (57) and Pelini (53)

I will give O credit for one thing - he learns from his mistakes and corrects them as quickly as possible. Two people who were too hard headed to do that were Les Miles and Jim Mora.

Best I can figure it is our average age is 50.2 years old right now just counting on field coaches.

McMahon and Ed sway those numbers a bit being the oldest coaches by about 7-10 years

100% right about that, nobody can deny this is a young, motivated coaching staff. These guys will be able to light a fire under these players arses, or those players who don't get that will be elsewhere.

I would be disappointed if he at any point he listened to complaints from the nut jobs on here.

More like Orgerons 5-5 season forced him to can his friend zone hires. This wasn’t him recognizing anything other than his seat heating up.

Most likely what Austin Thomas will be doing. Not reading the rant, but someone in his ear to make sure he’s out in front of the outside issues that cause a divide within the program.
