The longer it goes that LSU doesn’t say they’re retaining McBland or firing him, the more likely they know Wade is coming and will announce all at once.

Does anybody else want Will Wade to return so Pat Forde and Dick Vitale can cry like a bitch?

Good grief, I woke up to read this. Moscona? He's a babbling hack. Shaq loves LSU too. Does that mean he wants to coach? A new arena aint happening.

There are no givens.

If Wade returns, he better win big because, if he fails, it will be his last stop in major college hoops.

I really don't see what LSU has to offer. We don't have great facilities and it will take years for a new arena and other on campus upgrades to be made.
NC State can match money and NIL if they are committed to him.
His wife's family is in North Carolina.
The Wolfpack fans are more invested in hoops than LSU.
Rousse gave him a shot at McNeese and he parlayed that into a great offer from a major D1 basketball program. NC State put him on a big stage so he is just beholding to them as he is to Rousse.

This is far from a done deal as many have suggested.

You’d think Wade was John Wooden here. It’s ridiculous.
