Then that's just where we need to send him. A week spent with the Atlanta media should be loads of fun for the punk.

If they beat us, I am hoping USCe wins the SECCG and sends Arky to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl anyway.

worst we can do at this point is the Cotton Bowl...
That is not how the bowls work. The Cotton Bowl, Outback Bowl and the Chick-Fil-A Bowl can all pick from the #3/4/5 teams in the SEC. They can pick from any of the three teams they want based on which team they think will travel best to their bowl.

It could look like this...

BCS Championship - Auburn
Sugar Bowl - LSU
Capital One Bowl - USCe
Cotton Bowl - Alabama
Outback Bowl - Florida
Chick-Fil-A Bowl - Arkansas
Gator Bowl - MSU
Music City Bowl - UGA
Compass Bowl - Kentucky
Liberty Bowl - Tennessee

Here are the Bowl Tie-ins and the order they select...

Sugar Bowl - SEC Champ or At-large if the SEC champ plays in the BCS championship.
Capital One Bowl - SEC#2 (SEC champ game loser can't fall past here.)
Cotton Bowl - SEC#3/4/5
Outback Bowl - SEC#3/4/5
Chick-Fil-A Bowl - SEC#3/4/5
Gator Bowl - SEC#6/7
Music City Bowl - SEC#6/7
Compass Bowl - SEC#8/9
Music City Bowl - SEC#8/9

Karma is only LSU's side for this game! I bet the Peach Bowl can't wait to bring Bobby P back to Atlanta to face the music. Of course the Falcon are much better off without him.

Sorry, but you are wrong about the Capital One. They can take the non-BCS SEC team with the best overall record OR a team within 1 win of the best overall record. South Carolina is NOT going to Orlando as they will have a 9-4 record if they beat Clemson and lose to Auburn. There may be 4 other teams they could choose over SCarolina (they will pick a SECW team).

Your SEC #3/4/5 designation for the Chick-fil-A is wrong given the Cotton and Outback Bowls choose AHEAD of them. Cotton gets first pick of the West teams and Outback gets first pick of the East. If one wants a team from the other division, they have to select after the other. Chick-fil-A has been 5th in the pecking order behind BCS, Cap One, Cotton and Outback for a long time.

Sorry, but Arkansas is not going to ATL. Not only does Chick-fil-A not want a school from a state where they have no significant presence, but Arkansas is not going to fall that far. You forget the Cotton Bowl office is down the concourse from Jerry Jones' office who would take Arkansas as long as they are not matched up with aTm.

No one knows except from the them why LSU wants to keep Arkansas out of the Sugar Bowl. For if we go to the Sugar Bowl sign another top 10 class then LSU may become a has been.

I didn't say he was scared to play in Atlanta. He doesn't want to. Read the Sports Section in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette (don't know which day). I remember reading that the sports writer stated that if Arky didn't move up to #6 after beating LSU that they need to get rid of the BSC altogether. A #6 would qualify them for the sugar. It also said he didn't want to "spend the days leading up to the New Year's holiday in Atlanta.

read it in an Ark news paper today. He does not want to lose to LSU and be left to spend a week in Atlanta. People do not like him there, plus this will be Arky's first BCS bowl game if they beat LSU. They have a lot to play for. I'm In Texarkana today and I'm sick of the Razorpigs and their confident BS.

I'm not sure if you really care if you made a thread with false information, but for what it's worth, Petrino has not spoken specifically about any bowl scenarios, and is not quoted in the article by Wally Hall.

Saying petrino is still not popular in the ALT would be like saying Auburn has lots of new observers these days. Although it has been almost three years since Petrino left, at least one columnist never misses a shot at him and, for that matter, Fayetteville and Arkansas.
He can kiss grits.
Petrino would endure the long six days for the New Year's Eve game, but he should be more than properly motivated this week to find a way to score soon and often on LSU.

Go read it and you would get the same conclusion I got. Wednesdays paper, written by Wally Hall.

"If a victory over the No. 5 tigers doesn't propel the Hogs to No. 6, then the system is truly flawed and should be scrapped immediately. If the Razorbacks lose, look for them to drop to the Patrino Purgatory Bowl, formerly known as the Chick-fil-A Bowl"

"There will be four at-large berths this year because Notre Dame didn't qualify for a BCS game, but two of those spots will go to Boise State and TCU, provided they win out.

Anyway, don't you have your own Swine-Board to go to?

I do not think we get the Sugar no matter what plays out. I am a hog fan.

Let it be noted.

No, I'm pretty sure that everyone BUT YOU knows why LSU would want to keep R-Kansas out of the Sugar.

Seriously, you should have to be able to score at least a 10 on the Wonderlic to post on TD.

He'll go wherever he's told he is going. If the Chicken Bowl is the best deal left on the table, so be it.

As far as I am concerned he can go play with himself in War Memorial during bowl season.

I think the Sugar would make a lot more money off Stanford or Ohio State than Arkansas. I could be wrong.

Ohio State - maybe. Stanford-HELL NO!! Pac-10 fans are the best at traveling and Stanford is the bottom of the barrel. They don't even fill their 50,000 seat stadium.

If AR beats LSU and Auburn wins out and the Hogs DON'T go to the Sugar Bowl but have to watch BSu go then that will be a travesty.
