Chase becomes a top WR in the country.
So he is just going to pass up the guy that just made bama his bitch in the national championship, with the best Qb in the nation and a modern offense? lol
I hope you're right but unless we can pass block a whole hell of a lot better our offense will still be in max protect mode and the defense will be able to bracket cover the 3 people we have running routes.

Racey McMath takes over the TE spot
We had a sneak peek vs OM, then he was gone like a vapor after that.
Before Ole Miss game.
Ogeron: “We are going to get Racey more involved”
Racey: 3 targets 3 catches 60 yards.
Let’s not target him for the rest of the season?

Jacob Phillips was good this year, but he can be as good as Devin was next year

Jamal Pettigrew. He would have been a huge asset at TE this year. He is much like Irv Smith/OJ Howard were for Bama. TE size with WR talent.

Emery or one of the other backs(Provens or Curry).

For me it would be Tyler Shelvin.... Played great in the bowl game and seems like he's fully committed to the program and the process now.

I don't know if this would be a surprise or not but Jacob Phillips with a full season at the LB position will be a beast.

I assumed that Lanard would be gone after this past year.? I thought he was a senior last year, therefore Ineligible for next season...? Did I miss a redshirt year or something?

Lanard was redshirt his freshman year. He'll be a redshirt senior next year.

also wouldn’t be surprise picks
The OP has no mention of it having to be a “surprise.”

I'm pretty sure Jonathan Giles is here next year, if so, I believe he has a big year.
The kid was pressing last year, the jersey number 7 was a lot of pressure. When he was stripped of that number. I assume that that only added to the emotions, and pressure. he felt he had n::to prove himself worthy of being out there on the field.. I bet he works his arse off to make his career end on a high note...
Who knows, he may be drafted with a huge year...there has to be some kind of talent there, or they woul have never given him that number

I could see this for sure. That kid has HUGE hands and the NFL body that scouts love. He is a red zone nightmare

I’m with you. If this kid buys in and gets his body right, it would take this defense to another level. We would have three legit NTs to rotate for the first time under Aranda, keeping guys fresh. Having true space/double team eaters will free up the DEs and LBs to wreak havoc.

Devin White and/or Rashard Lawrence

I like this pick.
Fits the criteria of surprise breakout player.
