Pound for Pound Toughest Tiger of All Time

Obviously this is just personal opinion, but I vote for Sammy Martin. Tiger running back who was 5'11" and weighed 175. I saw that guy get smashed time and time again and he always got back up and got the job done. He played injured a great deal of the time but you wouldn't know it from the way he ripped off those runs.

Strongest could be Laron Landry. Dude is a beast and puts on clinics.

Faulk, Casanova and Art Cantrelle are probably your winners here. Sammy Martin, Trindon Holliday, Billy Cannon and Jimmy Taylor all deserve mention as well, although, for their era, Cannon and Taylor were probably not in the pound-for-pound category. Mathieu is the current player who embodies the "It's not the size of the dog in fight, but the size of the fight in the dog" spirit.

(Lot of guys who played carried the ball, at least in some capacity, and returned kicks and punts here.)
