I with you Deuce, I don't see us making it out of our regional. Arizona St. and USM have decent pitching and with our inconsistency at the plate, it doesn't bode well for us.

Was there any reason given for linking LSU/UGA regionals, and GT/UNC regionals other than an attempt to reduce the number of conference super regional participants? Already played UGA, would have preferred GTech.

Good job on organizing the OP, im4LSU.
I feel vindicated regarding a post I made in the game thread for the Wally Pontiff Classic. (I'm pretty sure it was that game thread.)
The board was crawling with ULLLLLLL fans crowing about beating LSU and I replied to several of them, "Let's see which team is still playing in June."
That set them off even worse!

Stony Brook was just plain better. Nobody overlooked them, least of all CPM. That guy was nervous as a cat in room full of rocking chairs. Stony Brook went on to win the Super Regional.

The teams are seeding 1-16 and mtached up accordingly. Some of those seeds are questionable though (GT at 3, Ole Miss at 12)

Ole Miss at #12 was a definite WTF moment during the selection show. Especially since that got them paired up with R-Kansas for an all-SEC Super, if chalk holds.
GT also got paired with #14 UNC, potentially an all-ACC Super.

Yep. Our outfield was particularly overmatched defensively. RR in Left, MK in Center and AE in Right. Balls are still finding gaps....
